Keeping my head down with returning to my day job as well as setting up a lot of new furniture for the new year. All boardgames are stored downstairs now and even started displaying some of our favourite pieces.

It's been an interesting year but as we draw a close on 2025, I am ready for the next. I've been swamped with holidays, family and working on the new business which has kept me quiet along with the worst flu in my life. I'm enjoying the last few days before full steam with my first ever card game!

After looking after everyone in the house for a week including my very sick wife... Flu has finally come to my door. I feel so awful

Been a big but exhausting day today. After a year of therapy and assessments, my eldest was officially diagnosed with Autism. It felt like a weight off my shoulders. Nothing changes but it has a name for the thing I believed she had and I was so sure. Feel very vindicated.

Well the person on Etsy who reported my skull decals to Sony has finally won. My shop has been suspended and to be honest I'm not even that bothered by it. I'm going to take it as an opportunity to focus on the new business.

Apologies for being gone for a while. A mixture of huge deadlines at work then dropping my phone in the washing up. On the plus side I have a new phone mostly up and running. I've also been super busy with a new big project which I've started with a good friend of mine. News soon on that one.

I'm not posting as much lately as I'm just very busy and no space left for anything. I've been doing some more restoration of the kayak and found under the flaking fiberglass join a nasty crack. This will go to the top of the list I think.

Currently reviewing my 34page report for my execs. I've been writing it pretty much non-stop for a few weeks now. I've printed it out as I can't stand reading on a digital display and grabbed my pastel highlights so I can find all the bs I've said 🤦‍♀️

I have officially started the restoration of my new Kayak. It was made by the previous owners parents in the 70s. Hand painted by his mum, this is called Bumblebee. Today was the first full wash in 20years followed by void filling with epoxy putty. I need to cut the seat out next as it's cracked.

Currently experimenting with making my own panel liner. The kit I have is a copy of a limited edition kit but it's 100% ABS (yes it's a fake) so I can't use my usual panel liner. So far it's alright but I need to try adding more flow improver.

Every year I make my each of my daughters a birthday cake of their choosing, a "home cake". We don't have allergies but their friends do so this lets them have anything without worrying about hurting anyone. This year my youngest wanted a super chocolate cake but as Ghost Spider.

My eldest daughter and I spent the day in London with our first stop trying to score some limited edition kits in the Gundam World Tour. Here's our haul! Even grabbed the Gundam TCG while we were there. Influencers and early shoppers (+Scalpers) have decimated the stock but we still left happy.

I've officially completed Armoured Core 6. I avoided the game for so long as I didn't think I was good enough for difficult games anymore but my friends convinced me. In the end I beat all S rank arenas within 25-41seconds and the final boss was down in 1min 45sec. I fully recommend this game.

Officially started MG Deathscythe today. This morning was panel lining and this evening Torso and Head build. The cockpit gimmick is great and glad I threw on a little colour on Duo. #gundam #gunpla

The latest pink beauty is nearly there. Just shield and backpack left to make. I'm flying through this #gunpla HG build. The glass nano file I grabbed is amazing for nubs and seams.

Onto the next #gunpla. This time is a HG Strike Freedom Rouge set I was given two years ago. I spent my time panel lining black and pink. I can really tell my skills have improved a lot since my last HG kit so I'm making the most of this one and seeing how well I can do before my Master Grades.

She just needs a matte varnish but Aerial is finished. Probably my favourite #gunpla kit to date and easily my second favourite #gundam.

Spent the day away for work on an undisclosed location which was interesting. Managed to see some emergency recovery training on a fighter jet. Canteen lunch was good too
