Been doing so many HGs lately that it feels good to work on a larger kit again. I was at the point where I was procrastinating because the thought felt overwhelming, but diving back in has been smooth sailing

While the metal joints have their own issues (had to sand down a piece to fit in one and still ended up with stress marks) they are so beautiful it makes me want to buy a full metal build

Watching someone play SWBF2 2017 and they were making incorrect statements about the game’s launch & got mad at me for mentioning the MTX were removed before launch. I think they remembered the controversy but not how it resolved; it’s a shame people didn’t see the real launch as it was a good time

What an ending to that Geed episode

Homera Hime feels so close to being a little treat. The combat is solid but kind of loose, showing off its indie roots but has some fun boss fights But if the game was cut in half; trim out that adventure stage layout and just go room-to-room combat it would’ve been a lot more fun

Ultraman Geed has gotten a lot less wacky in the last few episodes, they finally settled down from the ridiculous villain-of-the-week and started working on the story They’re also getting more ambitious on the fights which is really cool (even if it’s a little too much for their effects department)

So I do legitimately love the live action One Piece, but I am very disappointed that they totally missed the whole point of the fight in Arlong Park. They framed it as Luffy destroying everything to stop Arlong, but what made it great was Luffy destroying everything because of what was done to Nami

Didn’t know the company but this guy looked cool so I took a chance. Turns out it IS pretty cool! The manual has lots of random things to try and give this original creation some lore including a mini comic, and the different hands are all cool! No weapons or stand tho. HG equivalent, so fast build

#Synduality may have been a good idea wrapped in an absolute failure of design, but it did still give us some cool mechs and I’m glad Bandai made a kit for it I’m usually all for multiplayer, but this game probably should’ve been singleplayer (and shouldn’t delete paid cosmetics on death)

#Ultraman Ginga is WILD Second episode enemy is a motorcycle rider who tries to kill people who flirt in public. He turns into a monster to achieve this and gets hit in the junk by a shovel so he turns into a giant. Ultraman throws him into space and then flies up to punch him back into the ground

Watching Ultraman Geed: No matter how advanced the effects get or what decade it’s updated to, Ultraman always seems to retain that 60s/70s feel. I think a lot of it is the oversized helmets & bodysuits, it keeps a certain charm about the series Geed has some awesome miniature work for sure tho

Got the remainder of what I had sitting in HLJ’s warehouse. We’ve got a #Xenoblade kit (I didn’t like the other one but hoping 🤞) #Synduality, and a couple non-franchise kits. Also got in a new cutting mat of Racing Miku, but I didn’t pay attention and it’s half the size of my current one lol

I’ve been holding out hope for Pragmata and Marathon, both have been surface level looking amazing but I was worried about them on a deeper level But Pragmata’s demo (once I adjusted the controls) won me over & while Marathon’s prior test runs were rough, server slam has been really fun!

Whatever tweaks Bungie actually did, #Marathon is feeling way better now Bots don’t seem as insane, firefights feel more balanced and haven’t had the infinite grenade spam of alpha (yet). Triage is my boy, basically just Apex Lifeline Thinking I’m going to buy release now, just wish I had a crew

Absolutely incredible work from Resident Evil

Three episodes deep into Monarch, it’s pretty fun. On the surface I don’t really care for a Godzilla show with no Godzilla but I’m enjoying it. The hopping between decades helps it stay interesting and I like the cast lineup.

Using the Switch feels like a big step up from the original screens, but the black and red make it very disorienting to come out of. The nose rest is also very uncomfortable, it needs some padding. Still a cool thing to have again, I’m glad the VB is back in playable form

Oh (virtual) boy, time to party like I’m making bad decisions 20 years ago I didn’t have one at launch but I did find a used one years later and it was a neat thing (although no stand meant it was hard to play) so I’m glad we finally have a good way to revisit it

Put together the new Speed Champions BTTF Delorean set last night, it’s a great set for the price and size! Being able to change between BTTF 1/2 is also a really nice touch. I do wish some of the details weren’t stickers, but at least Lego stickers seem better than Bandai gunpla ones.

Spent hours trying to figure out how to make Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous read two throttles at once and it’s still not quite there (one is fully working but the other one can’t reverse), but my Nilson Works Monument EX showed up, so at least I have another giant box to work my way towards.

Went to reacquaint with #EliteDangerous Took a small bounty, realized I couldn’t interdict because no module, bought one, refound a bounty, couldn’t figure out how to interdict, remembered hardpoints, found my real target was at a planet so no interdiction needed, finished in 5 seconds. I’m amazing.

My second Moderoid kit, first Titanomachia, and a more pleasant (but smaller and less detailed) experience compared to Thunderjaw. I love the tiny ragdoll Sally feet and it’s still very stable with no base. Also the cockpit remains fully accessible after completion which is rare. #gunpla

Here I am playing #Endfield because I loved Arknights only to discover I got tricked into anime Satisfactory. I’m not mad, but I’m going to be addicted to production lines and that is not where I thought this was going

Gacha catch up: Doing HSR but it’s a slog. I love the story but Penacony is not for me. I don’t like half the characters there, most of the ones I do like don’t feel like they belong, I don’t care for the pseudo US 1920’s style, & the pacing is dragging; two story climaxes but not even 75% done.

My Switch might be neglected, but to be fair they still haven’t released Shatterhand, Metal Storm, Sin & Punishment, or Kabuki Quantum Fighter Cannon Dancer is still excellent tho
