Mercury dime anklets - restocked! These dimes, minted from 1916 to 1945, were designed to feature young Liberty. However, people mistakenly thought the head was that of the Roman god Mercury because of the winged cap. Since then, the coin is now called either a Winged Liberty Head or Mercury dime.
