Most of the time, Doordash does not pay a living wage to its drivers. This is why tipping is super important. I almost never dash even when I feel I need to because the base wage is so demoralizing I feel it's a waste of my time, gas money and wear / tear. Horrible company run by horrible people.

I have heat again!!! I ended up having to cancel with Lowes and found a local small business guy who came and fixed it all up for me on short notice. Turns out it was the pressure switch. It died, and thankfully he had one available to replace it.

Welp...the heat is out. It's currently about 40 degrees in my home...and I have been waiting for almost 8 hours for a callback for repair service...

The Olympic Games are always a nostalgic event for me. They inspire me to do better for myself, and in a way, give hope that the state of the world can get better. And as always, I am (usually) cheering for the home country. Go Team Italy!!
