My new girls are booked in for a vet check on Monday! They will not like that but I did the same for Tulip and Snow. The rescue has done health checks on admission, and I do trust them but I do like the verification they are well.

I'm getting my girls on Friday!!! So I can have more this one photo. Super elicited, still getting the cage ready. They sound a bit smaller than Tulip. And less fussy eaters! Changing the name from Bluebell to Blueberry as I don't want constant reminder of my family's senior kitty when she passes.

Tulip is settling into her new 4x3 c and c cage quite happily! Felt bad part is on kitchen floor so have put my summer bench padded cushion under the waterproof tablecloth so it's extra padded. She will be in it at least 4 weeks. A lot is under the blanket. #guineapig

Want to add for various reasons I haven't brought Snow home. She is being taken care of with dignity by the vet. Vets were amazing, as we're my family. They went above and beyond for me considering my low income. That's all I can really say. Snow looked unwell so here is a healthy pic. 💜🌸

On emergency feeds, got pain meds &anti inflammatory but vet said if no better in 48hrs then to go back. She refuses to eat hay but will eat mushed up nuggets and occasionally a veg she likes. Snow could be very sick. Found a lump yest-hadnt handled for a bit as I've been ill. Vet says could be innocent cyst but there is a chance it's cancer. I should know by Fri as samples were taken. It's not hurting her and she is her sweet self. I was distraught last night

Slept badly due to 2 of the horrid not being able to breathe coughing fits. But my chores are all done so I can nap soon and then game. Excited for 2 games I'm restarting today! Taken 1st dose antibiotics which are a double dose then 1 day tol I finish the packet (1 week). I hope it nukes germs.

No nap today as waiting for annual boiler check. Which includes fire alarm check. So tired but going to have coffee than a milkshake to keep me awake til bed. This is why I usually nap! But the slot was 1-4 and didn't want to change to morning as I'd then have to get up early. #chronicillnesslife
