Yeah that's a good idea and since there are not many people on this app I think it would be easier to take over the trends

I think studying the fandoms of other well-regarded rappers that don't rap in english will help too. That's a big barrier to English speaking rap random, but it's not absolute. (Bonus points if it's in a language that's not a big first or second language in the Western hemisphere)

& since rap is lyrics-focused it’d be good to talk more about their lyrics & storytelling also. i see ppl talk about lyrics occasionally, but not <in depth> at least not recently. we should make threads thoroughly explaining them also, and include things like wordplay if you can

one thing we could do on twt is make threads that include bts w western rappers. could be things like “best lyricists,” “best rap albums of 2024,” “songs that touch on mental health,” “songs that include [blank] symbolism/analogies” etc

yes. its a way to associate bts to the big artists and not just kpop. Imagine seeing billie fans, swifties, directioners, beyhive etc. praising bts and their releases CONSTANTLY. and with 10k-20k likes each tweet.

One of things that worked out well for RPWP was when a bunch of locals started actively praising that album of twitter within the first week. I think we need local accts of our own that we can use.

I have ideas of things we can do to start but it needs commitment. Longterm commitment.

I think our rapline deserves more recognition cause wdym they are making bangers and nobody is acknowledging it . I hope they also became popular like other rappers. There lyricism and songs are just amazing .
