It’s hard to say. He’s currently on the ground, eyes shut tight, hands on his muzzle, shaking his head from left to right.

I don't know HOW strangers keep finding their way up here, but I will find out, and I WILL put a stop to it.

Sonic’s birthday, huh…I’ll just get him what I always get him. Fresh fruit from the island.

Knuckles’ eyes widened, and he’d clearly take that threat to heart. It was time to take things in another direction. He’d twist himself the best he could and start tearing at the earth, digging a hole which he could hopefully escape through.

This was utterly humiliating, not to mention painful. He was just glad no one was here to see him struggle. His hands hook beneath the roo’s backside as he tries to lift him off.

Knuckles had to bite his lip just to keep from yelling out from the pain. He’d immediately start shoving and punching at those two tons that pinned him down. “GET. OFF. NOW!”

Knuckles had lifted quite a lot of heavyweights in his time. Yet even so, this roo somehow trumped them all. “Wh-What…?!” He could only grunt as his shoes sank into the ground a little, muscles working overtime to keep from getting outright crushed. He had to throw him, and fast!

And move he would. Knuckles rushed towards the Kangahog’s legs and gripped them tightly. With a grunt and monstrous strength, he’d start lifting him off the ground.

"Oh, buddy. Trust me, this isn't a path you wanna go down." He pounds his fists together, snorting hot air from his nostrils. "Last warning, big guy."

“You can have your vacation somewhere else! This island’s off limits, and unless you want me to force you off I suggest you beat it!”

It’s times like these I’m glad I live alone.

“A vacation—?! Oh no, no no no. That’s not happening. Sorry, but this island’s got a strict no vacancy policy, so I’m gonna have to ask you to beat it.”

He'd raise a brow at that rather simple answer. "You flew." He looked the Kangahog up and down, before narrowing his eyes a bit. "Yeah, I'm gonna need more than that big guy. What're you doing trespassing on this island?"

Knuckles had to just stare for a moment at the sheer absurdity of what he was witnessing. He’s seen some big brutes in his time, but this guy was on another level. Even so, he couldn’t just let him cause a ruckus on the island. Rolling his shoulder, he marched up to Krypt and crossed his arms.-

Eyes shut, arms crossed, standing guard in front of the Master Emerald as usual. "Hmph. At least the weather's nice."

Knuckles continued to do one handed push-ups as the sun reached its peak.

Time for a quick nap while things are quiet…

A slow day...just what he'd been asking for. Finally, he can catch up on some reading.

He's busy cleaning snow off of the Master Emerald's shrine steps. "Of course, the island had to head for a snowstorm..." Knuckles grumbled.

He’s currently doing push-ups with a boulder twice times his size on his back.

"Alright, that takes care of the morning survey...now I can relax." Grabbing a stem of grapes, he'd make his way to the emerald shrine's base to sit and enjoy his breakfast.

Crouching slightly, Knuckles would suddenly leap from the top of those stairs. He’d plummet downward towards Storm’s location, landing with his fist firmly impacting the ground. As the dust settled, Knuckles would be staring up at the gigantic sea-bird with a smirk, before getting into a fighting-

Knuckles stood at the top of the Emerald’s shrine, arms similarly crossed. “I think the words I used were sparring partner, but Jet seems to think you’ve got what it takes to beat me into submission.”

“Bring it, you know where I’ll be.” The guardian nodded, before returning to his post.

“Yeah? Well, if you wanna see that so badly, who am I to turn you down? I might even work up a sweat.” He smirked, pounding his fists together a few times.

“Really? You’d be happy with a front row seat of your friend getting his butt handed to him?”
