Stella paused her work and looked up from her desk, hareing the door knock from a few rooms away. The swan stood up, procuring a certain means of arming herself- just in case this visit wasn't the friendliest. Stepping toward her front door, she spoke through it. "May you identify yourself?"

"Hmm? Perhaps you'd like to say something, Imp? Or do you wish for me to share my 'mee-mays' with you?"

"These little yellow guys are so funny! They serve evil so they would be PERFECT down here, plus there are plenty of 'mee-mees' made of them!" It is impossible to tell if Stella thinks this stuff unironically, but she seems to know it causes people pain if she says it like that.

"Voices in your head? Hmm.. I do believe that you should get that checked out, that does not seem healthy." It was impossible to tell if Stella truly believed her or was joking herself. The goetia doesn't dwell on it, acknowledging what Delilah said after. "You asked me to stay, so I did."

"Oh... Very well then, Delilah. I can stay here with you for some time." The large swan lady allows the sinner to take her hand, the sharp talons Stella usually has have been filed own to manageable points. "I am to assume that there hasn't been anything particularly entertaining here then?"

"Ugh... Overlords in general."

"Hmm.. Armored and reinforced vehicles you say? By the sins driving like I own the road with one of those actually sounds FUN!" The bird lady's face contorts into an evil grin. "I'll run the numbers later for modifications to be made to an already heavy-duty car. It doesn't sound cheap."

"That's.. fine. If you need more time to process before we come up with something, then we can take a small break- say like, another week- before talking over it again." The goetia attempted to compromise, though she was alright at talking, emotional talking really wasn't her forte.

"I don't believe I said that I didn't want to see you again, I just... wanted you to know how that hurt." Stella pauses, she's surprised at her own self-control and understanding. "Again, I'm not entirely blaming you, this is far from something unforgivable for me. Let's think of something."

"I see, I see. I will have to keep that in mind- I have a chauffeur that drives me places, so I am not without transport. It is driving MYSELF around is the problem. It seems fun, other than the large number of laws, and the people who ignore them."

"I WOULD drive myself around, but the damage I'd cause from road rage would be too great.. Plus finding a automobile that gives me a comfortable amount of room would be quite difficult.."

Stella blinked, sitting back in the chair she was borrowing for the moment. An tone of hurt can be heard within the swan's voice, as she gazes down on the rabbit. "Well.. As much as I'd love to just forgive and forget, what is there to talk about? You broke up with me during that spat."

"Even though we've long been divorced and moved on with our lives.. I sometimes wonder what kind of chaos Stolas has gotten himself into today.."

Several times does Stella's expression change throughout the explanation that he gives her, from shock to confusion to annoyance to outright rage. Her face hardens into a cold contemplation as she stares up at him. "That is- Grr.. Anyway... Thank you for telling me all this. This is... Insane."

"...To be quite honest, I myself am quite surprised how... controlled I am being. Usually a confrontation like this would have been much more... explosive." Stella admits, leaning down and gently wiping the tears away from Delilah's eyes. "Would you like to talk about it, my dear?"

Stella thought about it for a moment and then nodded. It would be better to get the news firsthand from whoever was actually down here in the situation rather than secondhand. "That would be very well appreciated."

The goetia thinks, and then nods. "I will... Take the necessary precautions and make sure that there is a safe and well-stocked place my daughter and myself can live in until this all blows over. Although I still very much need to brief myself on the situation, I've been gone for quite a while."

"Call it a case of extreme self-control, something that I didn't know that I had. I am still very, VERY upset at everything that happened, do not misunderstand." Stella nods, staring down at Delilah with a very controlled composure. "It's just that yelling at you won't ACTUALLY fix anything."

"Hmm. I wouldn't quite say that and I don't blame JUST you, the circumstances were... if i'm to be honest- just really shitty." Stella isn't going to keep driving it home that it is more Orchid's fault everything fell apart. It would make things worse, plus Stella knew it wouldn't feel good to.

Stella closed her eyes for a moment, and then pinched the bridge of her beak. "I can't leave or look away for a fucking SECOND, can I..." The goetia sighs. "Again, good luck and stay safe. I'd offer some help, but unfortunately this kind of thing goes far, FAR beyond my reach of influence."

Stella looked down at Delilah's injuries and then back up to her face. "I would hope so. Those wounds that he gave you don't look like they'll heal for a while." The swan slightly smirks to herself. "I won't find Orchid on my couch waiting to talk to me when I go home, will I?"

"Hmm.. Well a very good luck to you on this 'work matter' of yours. It is very... concerning that there are so many exterminators within Hell outside of the designated times."

Stella holds a finger out. "Do remind your child that if she values her life she will not again take on the frankly monumentally stupid task of infiltrating a goetia's abode. Sinners have been executed for less." Stella holds another finger up. "Keep this 'Avid' far, -far- away from me."

"My that is QUITE the suit of armor you are wearing. Do you have some sort of duel you will be participating in?" Stella inquires whilst looking him up and down.

"...." Stella stares down at Delilah with contemplation. "...I should be pissed with you, I would be in the -RIGHT- being angry at you.." Stella relaxes her face and feels the exhaustion burden her body. "...I just don't have the energy to.. This situation doesn't happen again, understood?"

Hello my dear subjects, I have returned. I have recently gotten myself a lovely new sofa and have become- as commoners say- a couch potato. We hope you are all doing and living well- but not as well as I, of course. -Stella

"Yeah. As best as I can be, I suppose." Stella takes a deep breath in, closing her pinkish-red eyes as a response. Stella tells herself that she will NOT start screaming. "Delilah. 'Pretty intense' doesn't even BEGIN to describe the- frankly- insane shitshow that thing turned into."

Stella looks down at herself, almost having forgotten she was still in disguise. "Oh right." Fire erupts from underneath her, travelling up her body and transforming it back into that tall goetia maiden Delilah was used to. "There we go, all back to normal. So.. How should we start this talk?"

Instead of sitting on the bed next to her, Stella pulled up a chair from nearby and sat down on it- entirely comfortable for her shapeshifted form. "I agree. Any more time spent -not- talking about it will make it even further awkward and uncomfortable to talk about."

With her cover blown, the 'hellhounds' demeanor shifted back. Stella gently pushed into the Rabbit hole and shut the door behind her. "I guess my acting skills have failed me." Reaching down, Stella lifts Delilah with one arm, carrying her to her room and placing the sinner back in her bed.

Seeing as Delilah was a smart woman- she would probably figure out that the pink and white hellhound with expertly done eyelashes before her straight up was just Stella disguised.. Or it was a very, VERY large coincidence. "..Yeah. Let's go with that first one, miss. May I come in?"

...Shit, that's right. Delilah has a very good sense of smell.. Stella had another trick up her sleeve though- all she needed was that door to open.. Hmm... "Uhh.. I dunno how you found out my college nickname, buuut a very pretty bird lady- like- paid me to bring this package for you."

Stella's hellhound disguise narrows it's eyebrows in confusion.. Who is Janet again..? Anyway, best not to get distracted. She raps her knuckles against the door again, her disguise speaking in a voice dissimilar to her own. "Helloooo? Anybody home?"

Stella wasn't one to be told what to do- to be told where and where she couldn't go. Especially since Delilah had been dodging her for a while now. Problem was, she couldn't appear in public like she would have liked to- there was ALREADY too much drama relating to the Goetias. -

"..." Stella steps out of the way as Delilah charges into the room and tries to bite and pounce on the weird imp man that had held her at gunpoint not even ten minutes ago. Truthfully Stella was still reeling from her near-death experience. So much stimuli at once started to give her a headache.

"..Beyond JUST foolishness? I could have had you executed for even -laying a hand on me- to begin with. I was in a good mood so I didn't- you can thank your mother for that, by the way." The more that Stella realizes just how ridiculous this situation is, the angrier she gets. --

"Of course Stolas has a part to play in this..." Stella rolled her eyes in disbelief. Even so long after she's stopped talking to him, he's indirectly causing her trouble. Irritation bubbles up in Stella's chest, a scowl forming on her face. "Look --

Stella was taken out of her stupefied state when somebody calls out her name. Both of them can visually see her shiver as she realized how close she came to death. Stella took an anxious step back from both of the Imp and Sinner. "Y-Yes. Indeed. Goetia don't take losses of their own.. v-very well."

Stella had frozen- staring down the barrel of the blessed handgun that this 'Avid' character had leveled at her face. She had.. never been in such danger before- and as such she had no idea what to do. The avian watches dumbly as Orchid bursts in and leaps in front of her, unable to respond.

~ Such things were common down here in Hell, although that didn't stop Stella from flinching from the sound of guns being fired and the anguished deaths of his own men. ~ ~ Stella goes back to sit down on the chair that she was originally in.. She was dealing with a real monster, wasn't she? ~

~~ Stella squints at this stranger.. She had never seen this person in her life. Nor did she know what he was talking about, all she knew is that there was a blessed weapon pointed at her. ~~ ~~ Attempt at diplomacy it is. Although this imp seems particularly insane, letting his hand burn. ~~ +

Stella was on the far end of the manor- her scent recently in the area but rapidly moving off in a certain direction. On her way she could spot two downed grunts that seemed to be picking themselves up. On the floor nearby is a broken ice-cream bowl and a shattered TV remote.

~ Stella had left her original two pursuers in the dust, her long legs carrying her far away very fast. However hearing the cocking of a gun Stella skidded to a halt and then froze ~ ~ The woman turned her body toward the third intruder. She couldn't easily just run away from bullets. ~ "...Yes..?

Stella isn't too aware of flower language, however they're pretty enough and the gesture is enough to bring a small fluster to her face. She takes the bouquet and the flowers and sets them both within vases upon a table. "Oh welcome! Thank you for the flowers, how excellent a gentleman you are!"

~ Unused to fighting and now fresh out of 'weapons'.. Stella bit back the angry tirade she would have had unleashed.. these two had obviously wanted to harm her. There might be more of them hiding in wait. ~ ~ She left the two of them behind, lifting her night gown and rushing out of the room. ~

~ Say all you want about Stella, but she wasn't completely unobservant. She heard the intruders enter, and she saw them jumping at them. ~ ~ Stella's TV remote ended up hitting one of the intruder's chest, the other having her ceramic ice cream bowl colliding against their face. ~

Stella raised an eyebrow in intrigue- that is some interesting timing. She pockets her phone and gets up to meet with whatever visitor is about to arrive. The goetia's face is vested with interest as she enters the guest sitting room. "Welcome to my home."
