"I appreciate the apology. It is of no worries, and I don't understand why I would freak out...?" Stella shrugs, pulling Delilah's hand up and cupping her other hand over it as well. "and I see I see.. All of those floating eyes sound scary.. But the goetia do scarier things."

"What? Of course not. Just that there are rabbit-like goetia that might know something. Although if you insist." She shakes her head. "A connection with Heaven is fascinating.. No matter how disgustingly nice they might be up there.

Stella's brows shot straight up. "You have STABLE contact with someone from Heaven? I didn't even know that was -possible-." She coughed. "Anyways. I'll see if any goetia have any advice for stuff. This isn't the -worst- illness to come from Hell, but it still seems unpleasant."

Stella rubbed her chin. "Well I'm not sure either, you would know." Resorting to using her phone, Stella looked it up- each of her fingers slowly typing out the illness and if there is any cure. "...Voogle says there is no cure, but they go away on their own.. Or instead become cancerous."

"Hmm.. Yeah I get you, I wouldn't want to be seen either if I had something like that growing out of my face." Stella reaches down and gently rubs the sinner's shoulder.. Hoping that is good comforting. "Is it possible to get it treated? Is there a cure? Or do you have to wait for it to go away?"

Stella's face shifts to shock for a second as Delilah removes the scarf, before going back to that studious expression she had beforehand. The goetia leans down to get a better look, her face twisting in confusion. "You aren't kidding.. What even ARE these, Delilah?"

"Ugh.. Fiiiine." The goetiahound rolls her eyes and snaps her fingers, and a flourish of magic pulls her back into her normal, birdy form. She leans down and gets close to Delilah. Worry etched over her face. She demanded answers: "Now. What is happening? Are you sick? Did something happen to you?"

Stella squinted.. This was weird. Usually it was Delilah who was ultra affectionate and lovey-dovey with her. Now she seems the opposite. "You cannot just ghost me for a week and then tell me nothing is wrong and expect me to believe that." Stella's hound form leans down and she taps her foot.

"Well I'll have you know I rock ANY form I take FABULOUSLY." Stella poses like a diva for a moment. "..And what is with the attitude, Delilah. Is there something the matter?" Stella reaches out and grasps the jackalope's arm, tilting her head.

Stella shot back- "So does everybody else in Hell, you're still better off in comparison." The disguised bird walked into the room and leaned against the wall. "I have not heard from you in a while, and I decided to drop by and see if you were still here and still in one piece."

Stella goes to open her mouth to greet Delilah but finds her entire face covered with a scarf.. Unsure what exactly this is, Stella's mouth opens and closes a few times. Would it be insensitive to ask? Confusion clearly evident on her face. "Hello.. Delilah...? How have you been..? Are you ok..?"

Stella did not stop knocking, her knuckles loudly rapping against the thin door. The stubborn bird wasn't going to be dissuaded that easily. "'Not a good time'...?" Stella questions. "Well why not? Let me in."

Unfortunately, Stella wasn't aware that Delilah didn't want her to see her like this. Disguised as a hellhound, Stella enters the complex and finds Delilah's apartment door. The tall hellhound-disguised goetia reaches up and knocks on the door. "Delilah. You have not been answering my texts."

Stella looks down at Delilah and gently scratches the jackalope woman's head with her long fingers. "..Thank you Delilah. I would like some... Cookies with my coffee, please. Maybe an extra sugarcube." With her other hand, Stella uses her knuckles to wipe away her eyes, which seemed a little damp.

"All paperwork pisses me off, Delilah. It's the part of my job that I hate the MOST. I spend hours staring at words sometimes." She looks back at the desk with a fire in her eyes, Stella turns back and sighs. "I need some coffee, maybe a shot in it so I won't feel so stupid... Which I am NOT."

Stella releases a bird-sounding growl, slamming the document on her desk and scowling down at it for a full ten seconds. If looks could kill, that piece of paper would be ASH in the wind. Once she's done she turns to Delilah with a defeated expression. "You said something about Coffee..?"

"I don't NEED a magnifying glass. What I NEED is for these words to stop being so confusing." Stella scoffs, shaking her head. She reaches down and takes the document back from Delilah, holding it an inch from her face and staring hard at it. She is focusing hard. "Trade Roots.. Glut..-tonny"

"Delilah can YOU read this? It's making my head hurt just LOOKING at it. The text is SO fucking tiny and it's giving me a HEADACHE." Stella holds up the piece of paper she was holding- something about trade routes between rings.. All written within a normally sized text font.

"Ugh.. What is it NOW!! I am doing some VERY important paperwork!!!!!! Do you know how HARD it is for me to read all this TINY print?!?" *Sound of irritated Squawking.*

"I suppose quitting 'cold turkey' would do more harm than good.. Although I am curious what exactly you meant by 'you should know'."

"...Huh.. I thought Charlotte's Hotel ran to REDEEM sinners. Not to indulge in their vices."

Stella rolled her eyes at the jackalope sinner's words.. Although if she were to be paying attention there was a faint dusting of pink along the goetia's cheeks. "..Ahem. Yes, well you won't have to worry either, Delilah dear. I am more than capable of fulfilling those dreams of yours... and more."

"Hmm.. I suppose you're right. Just do your best to keep a low- er- as low a profile as you can. We wouldn't want the humans -at large- to know demons exist." The large bird woman gave a small grin, very clearly approving of the violence this knife-wielding cultist had in mind.

"Huh.. I suppose that's correct.. I don't understand why you would want to return to the mortal realm, however."

"Ugh. What is all this racket out here? What is it that you're yellin' about out here? A blood moon?"

Stella stares down at Delilah, an unamused look on her face. "As I said, financial independence is important, Delilah. I -may- be willing to spend some of my own funds on gifts and such for you, but you will still have your own income. I am happy that your work is generally safe for you, though."

Stella sighs and playfully rolls her eyes. This bunny rabbit.. "Financial independence is important, Delilah. I don't want you quitting just because I can support you. Although IF those side gigs are actively harming your health, you don't have to do 'em."

"I got a lot of work to do, got a good chunk of it done- but there's still more. Thank badness it doesn't have to be done until next month." The princess holds her hands against her chest in a prayer-like manner, before dropping them. "How about you, Delilah?"

"You would be in EXTREME amounts of danger if you were to get within speaking distance of Andrealphus, my dear." Stella looks down and gently shakes her head, trying to get it through Delilah's. "Cold-hearted indeed. You would think he would be 'chill', but he's prickly with icicles."

"Umm.. Wednesday?"

"I would advise against even -attempting- to meet with him directly, Delilah. He has goetian powers and most likely WILL freeze you into a solid ice block." Stella takes a sip of her tea and gently pats the rabbit on her head. "Good thing is, I don't talk to him much anymore."

"Oh believe me, it is TOTALLY because you're a sinner. If Andrealphus had his way, you and all sinners would be frozen blocks of ice." Stella shivers. "He fancies men, but thinking back on some things he's said to me.."

"He would most certainly despise -you-, dear Delilah. He would admonish me for even -speaking- to you." The swan-like woman stares down at the jackrabbit. "Draw your own conclusions from such information."

"My -currently- estranged brother."

"I would say they're more akin to 'mutant hogs', because at least President Buer's experiments are made with SOME kind of purpose.."

"I wonder if I can call Andrealphus.. Or if he's still butthurt over what happened last time?"

"Imagine a horrible slop-filled social media platform with the most degenerate, most dopamine addicted folk with grass-touching aversion.. That would be Veddit, Helltok is WORSE."

"I do not care if it would 'bolster my public image'. I REFUSE to do ANYTHING having to do with HELLTOK of all social medias!!!!"

"Octavia is.." Stella gulped, hoping her daughter hadn't snuck away. "Octavia is currently at a two-week magic course down in Sloth, thankfully. She left about four days ago.. She'll see what happened, but will.. -hopefully- be unharmed." Stella grimaces. "..What about your own daughter?"

"My head feathers got a bit singed.. But all-in-all I am taking it a lot better than I should be." The goetia took on a much more irritated look. "I'm more angry, actually. That moronic boxhead took out my house and probably most of pride alongside it, he's gonna be paying for that quite dearly."

"I don't use it often, but I like to sit down here and feel the cool sometimes." Stella looks at Delilah with a slight frown, getting up from the armchair and moving to a couch, the large bird woman gently pats the spot next to her. "I am sure this will all blow over soon. Come sit on the couch."

Stella practically drags Delilah down to the cellar, closing the door to the higher places in the house. Stella's manor's basement is decently furnished, although most of it is taken up by wine racks and barrels. She sits down on a worn armchair. "I think.. We should be safe down here."

"There... ARE ways to get sinners through. But you're right, perhaps hunkering down and hiding out is a good plan.." Stella taps the bottom of her beak, before reaching up to the top of her head and extinguishing an ember. "There is a cellar in this manor that we can shelter in."

Stella is getting surprisingly good at recovering from near-death experiences.. She isn't sure if that's a good thing or not. "Wouldn't it just be a better idea to hide out in another ring for a while?"
