it's been 2 weeks, but i did my girl's nails tonight. both did super great and i was actually able to spend a lot of time with Kira's front nails. Still working on receding the front quicks and her nails are thick, so I actually took a lot off the front and sides. Yay!

On top of just being financially stressed to the max, my period started. Which really put my brain in a bad place. Now I know that was a major factor I'm trying to fight it the best I can. More puppy snugs, allowing myself to play games to relax in between job hunting for a 2nd/part time job.

When you turn down a part time job that would be $6-7 MORE than your current because you don't want to just leave them.....as you're needed most on weekends. Sigh. I hate this shit.

it's 2026 and so far i'm LISTENING to my body and when I need to rest. it "helps" that I was super sick with the flu almost 2 weeks ago and still recovering (mostly a dumbass cough remains). but you betcha if i'm tired at night ima go to bed....

I considered taking my tongue bar out the end of 2025....decided to leave it in, but changed my jewelry. Happens every couple of years. I've had my tongue bar in for -20- YEARS. crazy!!!

a sad and worrisome holiday. a dog at work is NOT doing well and we al spent time laying with him, loving him up. his body is done and his parents are trying to get home later (friday). such a good boy 😭

a former client (old job) is buying Kira a new collar, of my choice, bc she loves what i'm doing with Kira. what?!! i could cry! i like taking collars off at down times, but Kira has slipped hers bc her bulky head. now it's too tight to get off her head, but it's unable to come off then. no buckle.

snugged/napped with my dogs for like 2 hours. OFC i'm not sleepy now. fml. and on the day i actually have shit to do. figures. ehhhh who needs actual sleep.....

My Rottweiler, who is currently wary of the front door bc she hit it and it moved, scared off a possible coyote earlier...dad couldn't see what it was, but we agree a likely coyote. My guarding breed guarded the house successfully. Good Girl Kira!

I think Kira is finally concluding her false pregnancy. her nips look better, less swollen, and better overall. She's not licking them excessively either. Phew!

Kira has 100% been hiding out in my main sleeping area...forcing me into a much smaller space. But she's been snuggling for much longer than before. Maybe, after 6 months, this is her fully settling in....

working on a new winter hat. this one is a first for me and is for a new friend....the mom of one of Kira's pups. using Big Twist rainbow pride, and royal blue, yarn. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

I DID send a message to my dr/team....so...hopefully comes of it. she's now out of the office until 2027 x_x so here's hoping the person taking over her patients is as cool as she is....sigh.
