I was thinking about why I don’t use Zelle to pay my friends, since it’s a service offered directly by my bank (BECU), rather than an intermediary. I compared the same flow (“pay a frequent recipient $5”), and it was 6 taps and 30 seconds with BECU’s app, versus 3 taps and 6 seconds with Cash.
