I love Johnny. But bro. The amount of times I've heard niggas say the "1/3" thing. I SWEAR this video changed opinions, and it wasn't even Johnny's fault, it was just intense dickriding.

I personally think it's worse with franchises that are so casual that any opinion is accepted. Case and point? Pokémon Legends Z-A. Judging by YouTube videos bashing it, you'd think its the WORST game in the series. But nah. It's actually decent but flawed. Just parroting about the graphics tho.

I genuinely think we need to criticize "Lazy Criticism" more often. It's what grifters use, its what bigots use, its what low-quality content creators use. It benefits noone, but we just let is slide because we either hate that thing ourselves or dont care for the fandom.

GamerGate has had the consequence of people believing that all critics and reviewer's perspectives are valid or shouldn't be taken seriously. Its valid to want someone to engage with media with an open mind. If you dislike a genre, atleast be professional and try to understand why it's liked.

I made a post about how BlueSky users can be just as reactionary as X users and make up enemies in their head. I see blame being put on Nintendo.... I'm convinced people look for reasons to criticize this company, which is annoying in itself because you really don't need to make up reasons.

You know, BlueSky users will make posts about how "Reactionary" people are on X, and then see like...20 minutes of a game and start doomposting. Suddenly it's "Prime 2 and 3 were awful, why are you suprised?" and a character existing ruining hype for a game. That's being reactionary. Calm down.
