Album # 382 added: Maiden Voyage by Herbie Hancock (1966) What can I say? I think I'm just finding out what styles of jazz I fuck with the most. The most consistent so far for me has been modal jazz. This is a fine example.

I'm becoming increasingly aware of the fact that home ownership is not financially better then renting + investing. Ownership has plenty of costs beyond the mortgage, and these are often overlooked. While land may go up in value, structures are depreciating assets.

Album # 376 added: We Insist! Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite by Max Roach (1960) This feels like a bit of a hidden gem. A classic in certain circles yet still underrated. Now I'm thinking I need to find more vocal jazz.

Album # 375 added: Seeking Darkness by Huremic (2025) Very cool little album from this South Korean band. Noisy post-rock. It's been getting praise in music nerd circles but the band is still pretty underground, based on their streaming numbers.

Album # 374 added: Laughing Stock by Talk Talk (1991) This one was on my hit list for a while, but I guess I'm post-rock pilled enough to finally appreciate it. I just know it's going to grow further on me… it's a classic for a reason.

I maintain a list of every album that I like back to front. Currently I have 373 of them and now I think I'm gonna start posting here each time a new one gets added. Might give me more motivation to seek out more music.
