I've managed to make a return trip to the exhibition at The Amelia Scott! It's much quieter than opening night. I love the quality and variety of work on display from nearly 400 local artists.

There's a lot of people at The Amelia for the launch of 'your work here'. With 396 local artists I guess it's not a surprise!

A few pictures from tonight's #TunbridgeWells Lantern Parade. Good sized procession, well led by Bloco Fogo, ably supported by the Sea Cadets. But smaller crowds than recently (I think). Always fun!

First @rtwparkrun.bsky.social for three months. Tripped and fell, although I like to think I turned it into an elegant swan dive! Slowest run ever, but good to be back!

Good to see Rye Jazz Festival putting on a show (Macy Gray) at the Assembly Hall. In the middle of the Literary Festival too! That will be a busy week.

The second half of our 2024-25 season kicks off on 2nd February with a rousing programme of Rossini, Beethoven and Sibelius. Conducted by Peter Selwyn and featuring star soloist Alexandra Wood, this will be a concert to cheer and warm us all during the chilly wintry weather! www.rtwso.org

Currently on a tour of Tunbridge Wells Christmas windows. First up Eggs Eleven! The Big Reveal Christmas Trail.

I see that the first two of these events have transferred from Dunorlan to Eridge Park, I assume the third will follow! Presumably an after-effect of the mess made of the field by Oktoberfest! What's the future of events in Dunorlan? #TunbridgeWells

The Opera House in Tunbridge Wells has had a Christmas makeover by the BID team. Should attract some interest over the next 40 days! And I'm sure Weatherspoons won't mind the attention!
