Well my printers LCD screen broke and it’ll be cheaper to replace the printer than buy a replacement screen. On the bright side I’ve got enought Warmachine models printed to play a full 100 point game between cephalyx and thornfall alliance! #warmachine #3dprinting #tabletop

Decided to go with red cloth on my thornfall alliance; in the current lore for warmachine the Skorne were pushed out of Ios, the Infernals were driven back to the outer dark, and Khador isn’t using mass conscripts. So there must be a lot of red clothing to scavenge. #tabletop #miniaturepainting

Got all my files prepped and the printer is calibrated! Time to try out water wash ABS like resin from anycubic. I also finished the enforcers for my iron inquisition project so when I get the last of my warmachine files printed I’ll get those done as well. #3dprinting

Organizing the second phase for my Iron Inquisition and Scrap Legion. These won’t be free but they’ll expand on the free models to add a lot of character to every unit.

Getting the poses done for the Guards and Enforcers. The Guards were inspired by the conscripts from Red Alert 2 and I underestimated how restrictive the coat is with posing. After I get the posing done I'll get started on the higher detail work and adding random gear like pouches and ammo.

Touched up the enforcer model and decided I'd get started on the factional differences. The Iron Inquisition has better access to advanced equipment, so they get thicker armor plates. The Scrapper Legions focus on numerical superiority, so they have less armor to go around. #Blender #Gamedev

So the Enforcer didn’t come out exactly as I wanted, but that’s what early tests are for! I’m happy with the model as a base for other projects so I sketched out some extra parts that will make them function as the Exaction Squad or Blooded for #KillTeam #Warhammer40k #tabletop #proxy

Almost everything I printed off for warmachine #MK4 the cephalyx are rough with how many extra arms you need to glue on to the solos but the monstrosities and drudges are easy to clean up. The Thornfall models are really easy to take off their supports as steamforged games has gotten better.
