Todays #wip shots, my NCR are coming along nice and so are my Heretek Battleclade! I may have used too much rust effect but it will look great later, for the NCR I mixed the new vegas colors with the green of the combat armor sprite from the first two games. #tabletop #miniaturepainting

Blender progress on the orcs for my setting in the bronze age! They're called the Orishkar, sea raiders born of demonic blood they maraud small hamlets claiming treasures and sacrifices for their dark masters. Capable of breathing on land and underwater they strike terror into fisherman everywhere.

Finished my Primal Raiders! Red Nebular has some great designs so I highly recommend them to anyone who likes that chunky style of miniature. I’m planning on using these for fallout factions but I need to get them on the right sized bases. #tabletop #miniaturepainting #fallout #miniatures

I commissioned some sketches to help with the design for my game months ago and I never got around to making the models, I won't give too many details yet but I'm going to make them for various time periods in my setting. #Blender

Got the second base layer on and now we get an all over shade of strong tone, need to let them dry then I can bring the colors back up.

Made some solid progress on my raiders today, the boss is larger than the rest so I decided to make him a tiny supermutant. I’m thinking these guys are the descendants of a military base that was storing FEV and have now made a warrior culture where the leaders mutate themselves to secure power.

Slow progress on the weapons for my Trench Crusade demons, I decided the best way to differentiate my guys from Mortal Kombat was to make the guns fleshy!

Made some weapons for my Yoke Fiends! The serpent assault gun has a vague enough description that you can really make any kind of big thing, so I made whatever this is. #TrenchCrusade #Blender

I think if anyone wants to discuss Warhammer 40k then they should definitely look at Necromunda first. There’s an entire shadow war on the planet because one Hive City is successful without oppression! The game really puts it all into perspective the same way the fantasy RPG’s did.

I was not Expecting Crucible Guard but I’m pumped to play them, they came out when I wasn’t playing and were out of production when I came back to the game.

Looked through my craft room and had a small realization that, before I make my kitbashed dream armies I should get through a few boxes that were gathering dust. So next up is trench crusade and fallout. Beyond the gates of antares will be rough but stargrave will be an easy project to end on.

So I have wanted to do a fully kitbashed mutant army since I played the Scavvies in necromunda in 2012. I’m finally going to do this and I’ve got the first ideas to paper so I just need to source the parts and get started. #Warhammer40k #kitbash #tabletop #miniatures

Making progress, I’ve been pretty tired of painting since I finished my Urban War minis so I’m not really feeling the terrain so far. Thankfully this just needs to look good enough to accentuate the paint jobs of other models.

Not a fan personally, Mormons are pretty horrible but I’m kitbashing axis so I don’t have much ground to stand on. The ties and button ups are the iconic look so I get they’re needed in the design. Trench Crusade is weird war and these feel too modern in my opinion.

Getting started on my scifi terrain, One Page Rules has some amazing sets every month and thankfully these came out with the army that I wanted! Now it’s just a matter of space and printing everything. #3dprinting #tabletop

I don’t know how to feel now that I’ve realized the scifi setting I’m writing was subconsciously inspired by bionicle.

Got the terrain primed and had some time to prime some future projects! After I get the Urban War photos done I’ll get my trench crusade forces painted up, specifically the Catfolk Azebs and my kitbashed defenders of Paris.

I got pretty distracted making these backgrounds for my minis and ended up with a nice night time scene and a rather abstract city scape. I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out considering the fact that the last canvas I painted was six years ago!

I haven’t worked on canvas in a long time but I’m happy with how these back grounds are looking so far, going to let them dry for a while then I can start adding some details. The top one will be a city scape while the bottom is giving spooky vibes so maybe something alien.

Found my oldest warhammer model, the assault on black reach dreadnaught! The base wasn’t painted so I slapped some grey on it and rimmed the base black. I repainted this guy a few times and I think I settled on this color scheme in 2016.

And thats the last of my #UrbanWar models, the Triad are pretty #cyberpunk with their blend of aesthetics and I’m happy with how the orange, green, and purple came out. #Tabletop #miniaturepainting #scifi

Here’s my predictions; lighter infantry for nurgle, another character for fyreslayers but this time with pants, Ogres also get a single new character or maneaters get a new unit, and that looks like a bonereaper making a smoke screen so maybe skeleton ninja.
