AI Might Get Rid Of Jobs But Might Open The Door To Others <p>Artificial Intelligence is here to stay. </p><p>Let's just get that fact out of the way. </p><p>AI will also make some jobs obsolete. That really sucks.</p><p>But what people aren't really talking about is that with all these "vibe-coded" apps and systems being built, there are going to be new jobs emerging.</p><p>On the latest episode of <a href="https://www.aiforhumans.show/">AI for Humans</a>, the hosts, Gavin Purcell & Kevin Pereira, discussed that there will be a new type of position out there for coders. Those who audit, secure, and check AI "vibe-coded" programs that us "normies" have built. This could be a VERY lucrative industry.</p><p>I also think that with AI "vibe-coding" taking off, we're going to see a lot more efficiency happening in building apps and systems. I'm not exactly a hardcore coder, I know enough, but I love the fact that if I have an idea, I can get about 90% of the way there on my own, before bringing in more experienced folk to take whatever I'm working across the finish line. That's if it's needed at all.</p><h3 id="no-ai-ever-people">"No-AI Ever" People</h3><p>There are plenty of people online that say they will never use AI. Obviously I'm not one of them. These people will get left behind and will be at a disadvantage. Not being familiar with the tools available and what they can do, will put these people in a much worse spot than those who at least keep tabs on what's going on in the AI space.</p><p>I get where they are coming from. The see AI taking jobs away from people and the bad side of this evolution. But there is something to be said for using AI to augment what you're doing and improving your output.</p><h3 id="not-a-fan-with-no-human-input-ai">Not A Fan With No Human Input AI</h3><p>AI needs to have human input. Full Stop!</p><p>Putting out content that is AI written and not touched by a human is just spreading slop and benefits no-one. Copywriters should use AI for idea generation and other side-tasks to help with writing, but the actual writing should be a human endeavor.</p><h3 id="copywriters-to-copy-editors">Copywriters To Copy Editors</h3><p>This is another spot where there will be some evolutionary changes. AI might write first drafts of copy, but that's where the copy editor comes in. These editors might have once been the writers doing the first pass of the article, just evolved.</p><p>Look, like everyone else, I can't predict the future. What I do know is AI is here and changing the world around us rapidly.
