I think the hardest thing about finishing a book is deciding what to read next. I never freaking know. None of the 80 unread books I own sound good apparently.

I'm struggling so much to read Bloodmarked. Not because it's bad by any means. I'm hooked every time I pick it up but I'm struggling to find the energy to read after work and to pick it up just because it's so long.

Hi if you have not read this book you need to it's so freaking good! The themes and messages. The sibling bonds. The romance (which includes the POV of a demisexual character and a separate sapphic character pov), the world building, ect! It's all so good and I can't wait to dive into the sequel!

Currently reading So Let Them Burn by Kamilah Cole and I'm loving this even more than I thought I would. I love the characters and the world building and am so excited to see where this goes and dive into the sequel.

Okay so I attempted last night to start Light From Uncommon Stars and my brain was not processing anything and I have no idea why so today I started Name Her Holy instead and so far I'm really enjoying it. About 50 pages in. #transrightsreadathon

It's gonna at least be a few days cause even if I find a new pharmacy I have to wait till Monday for my doctor to send it.

Well my lack of focus makes sense yesterday. I forgot I didn't take my stimulants. I ran out earlier this week but my pharmacy is out of stock so now I have to call to see if other pharmacies have them. 🙃 We'll see how long I'm with out them.

I still have not showered since getting home from work because I keep getting distracted by a bunch of other things but I'm hoping after I do that I can settle and get some reading done to kick off #transrightsreadathon for me.

So here's the haul from my library's big book sale today! I'm so excited I found all of these all together under $5.

I've always gravitated towards YA and have been trying to read all the queer books I can get my hands on so this is unsurprising.

I love few things more than supporting local small businesses! After the library sale I went to a nearby indie bookstore and got a latte at the coffee shop right next door.

Absolute success! I got four books for around $4 and books that were on my radar to begin with! Also went to a local indie bookstore and a local coffee shop cause I wanted to be out more. It's been a good day!

Am I technically on a book buying ban? Yes. Am I making my way to my library's big book sale? Also yes.

Once again just amazed and mesmerized by Tracey Deonn's writing just as much as when I read Legendborn. The way she writes and describes things is just stunning. #bloodmarked

One of my favorite things in fantasy novels is when chapters are started by quotes from literature in said fantasy world. It's so simple but for me that makes world building so vibrant.

You ever just read the first chapter of a book and are immediately hooked? I'm trying to be good and finish my current reads but I'm so ready to dive into this.

I discovered Olive Garden delivers which is what I was originally craving so I made poor financial decisions because I'm tired and sick and want my comfort food.

Why the hell did I order spicy noodles? It sounded good in the moment but this is not what I wanted and now I'm sad. 😭

Currently listening to Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse and with my eyes reading Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn. Which both are incredible so far.

I finished Cinderella is Dead. I love fairy tale retellings and this one was so good. And very appropriate for the current political landscape. Also sapphic. If you need a kick ass FMC fighting the patriarchy then this book is perfect. #booksky
