Oregon coastline from Cape Meares.

This is the Octopus Tree located at Cape Meares in Oregon. It's a Sitka Spruce without a central trunk with huge limbs extending from the base. It's 105 feet tall and estimated to be 250 - 300 years old. It's worth seeing if you're in the area!

Today's frosty walk. We had some recent flooding in our area after a couple of atmospheric river events. The grassy blobs in the branches show how high the river got there.

Well Christmas has come and gone and it's safe to say she enjoyed her Christmas very much.

Got through our second atmospheric river system and 2 long power outages. Remembering the better weather we had when we were recently in Yachats. Here's a pic from the second night with the sun just starting to set with a sundog to the right.
