Watched the last Good Omens tv movie and for the first hour it felt like checking boxes and then it finally moved to an ok conclusion. I was happy to see judge Meadows judging 😉. Great cast , good music sure . Season 1 was best , could’ve left the rest to fanfic writers .

Widow’s Bay is such a well paced , well constructed show . Each episode a new horror gets introduced ,but there is also so much levity. Chose your scare :ep 2 crawlspace vs imaginary friend ;ep 3 creepy stalking monster vs The Ring type thingy ( to be expanded next ep presumably)

With Maul S1 finished I did a thing : unsubscribed from the Mouse for a while . There will be must watch new only there shows , but not anytime soon , hence budgeting.

The Widow’s Bay show just started today . Watched the first episode. Already creepy , slow burn with the scares, but also funny .I think I will like this .

HoTD trailer is out and I find myself less hot for it than I was for previous seasons . Too much time and a more fun show in between and will be somewhat overlapping with Silo S3 ,for which I am waay more exited .Yes,one can watch more than one show, yet my level of engagement will be different 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Maul show continues to be great . Visuals, pacing fantastic. Neat way to incorporate what happened to Maul so far. I’m not a huge fan of Daki and can understand why Devon might drop him . Show keeps you intrigued for more with just 2 episodes left .

I got some good news regarding my CT scan results : all good , nothing yet broken .ECG will still show blockage , but it didn’t yet translate into illness of any kind . Yay!

Daughter was visiting this weekend. We went to a Sesame Street Cafe ( we go every time she is in Tokyo , it’s become a ritual) .Saw a water-artist on the streets of Ikebukuro, creating a semblance of Detective Conan with only water .

Great final episode of an excellent season of #ThePitt . Not shying away to show the pitfalls of the healthcare system and the dire consequences of anti-science .Characters ,situations anyone can relate to. I want to know who Baby Jane Doe ends up with. Dr. Abbot is my fav. Night shift season,when?

I have a CT examination tomorrow and I am already scared by the mile long warnings of what bad shit might happen with the reassurance that the doctors on site will try to save my life if shit goes wrong .Well , thanks , I guess . Never heard anyone explain CT to patients on The Pitt 😂

What with the latest Soderbergh news , I am wondering how many of these big name ‘respectable creatives‘ becoming robot sellouts are we going to be able to spot before we give them any monies ( tickets to see their ‘work’ and such ). It is hard to keep up, many of us aren’t terminally online anymore

To many shows with new eps dropping Mondays. And now adding Maul . I went instead for a semi binge of Morganne HPI (og French version of High Potential) S4 . This show is whacky , colorful and so ,so funny . The US version is bland and pastel in comparison.

A lot of things are being said about long movies (3hoursish) , but I have to observe that the trouble is not the runtime . If it’s a slog it’s a slog if it’s 90minutes . If it hooks you it hooks you for as many hours it is . Granted one needs to plan ahead according to one’s own bladder situation.

I got a ticket to watch Project Hail Mary again tomorrow ( just barely ,only a few left ) .I wish there were more options than too early or too late ,but it’s all sold out . With good reason. Nobody can spoil this whatever they tell you ,even if you read it . You need to experience this
