Watched 28 Years Later :The Bone Temple and it was even better than the first . I need Part 3 ASAP!

Watched all 3 available episodes of #TheNightManager S2 and with all the twists and turns and hot stuff I am going to come out and still say that some of it is awfully convenient. I was expecting the ‘ big reveal’ and wasn’t surprised by it as Mr. Pine. Many good excuses to make TH tear up 😏

One other thing I noticed since I checked into Prime ( Fallout and TNM ) it’s how even more 🐕💩 the UI has become . You can’t even find the shows you are currently watching without a search. And I didn’t even say anything about the ads ( at least they are short ).

One thing I thought about while watching The Night Manager : just how does he get away not being recognized with that face . Doesn’t change that , glasses or no glasses , beard or not . Half expecting the neighbor being like : ‘Oí , Loki , here is your cat !’

I need to pace this . Only watched the first ep ( all 3 available are a solid hour long) . BOOM ! We are SO back ! Fangirl tinted glasses ON ! Sorry , not sorry 😊

The Night Manager Season 2! Let’s GO!

Jumped into Season 2 of The Pitt the moment it dropped. What ? I said it wasn’t for me ? Well it still isn’t ( still skipping stuff) but I can’t stop watching , ok ? 😂

This was fun! ( ‘Caught stealing ‘ ) I did not fall asleep or checked my watch for a solid 2 hours and was completely immersed in the story . The star actor of this film is Tonic who plays the character ‘ Bud ‘ 😻( yes, I checked the credits )

I am done with this week ! Yay! So who goes to watch a movie right after work ? Yes , it me . Not knowing anything about the film besides that it contains Austin Butler and Matt Smith . Just don’t make me fall asleep 😂.

One more workday of this 7 workday week and then I finally have 1 day off . My left knee is complaining .

I like this .

First visit of the year was to Toshogu Shrine ( got a year of the Horse charm ) and then to several other shrines .Walked a total 16km (25564 steps). Had the first fancy coffee .

I did watch the first season of The Pitt ( mostly because everyone was saying that it’s good and better than just an ER rerun) . Tuned out a lot of incomprehensible jargon and skipped some graphic surgery scenes . Is it good ? For sure . Was I right to not watch it initially? Yes.😅

My top 5 movies watched 2025 : 1. Sinners 2. Conclave ( I know , I know , here they released it this year, ok ) 3. 28 Years Later 4. Superman 5 . Weapons

My tv top 10 ( revised) of 2025 : 1. MurderBot 2. Andor 3. Silo S2 4. Severance S2 5. Alien:Earth 6. Task 7. Pluribus 8. Guilded Age S3 9. Asura 10. The Wheel of Time S3 and so on , the rest on my top 20 list are equally great

Looking back this year I watched too much ( good) tv and so had less time to read ( only about 25 📚) Now reading The Final Architecture series (Tchaikovsky) , 56% with Afterlife series(Mur Lafferty) , 60% with Memory, Sorrow and Thorn (Tad Williams)and a reading and watchlist never ending

Started watching a show that’s on a lot of top ten lists . Didn’t watch it because medical stuff is not my thing and after the first ep : yeah , still isn’t.

Scrolling this morning I realize I am a grandmother ( not literally, yet) ,Gen X with a gen Z child not understanding Alpha talk ( no idea what those numbers mean , no I do not need to know) . Slop I understand, there is plenty of that around , more by the day

Bloody hell ! Everything you plan to get for Christmas you have to get it by end of November it seems 😤 Shops already starting to gear towards New Year stuff . No , I do not want 鏡餅 in early December ( nor later but that is beside the point lol)

Friday was the day of too many things releasing at the same time. Went Christmas market watching so I only saw Pluribus E7 and my to watch list is getting longer by the minute. Home for Christmas S3 , Knives Out 3 , Abandons ,Troll 2 ,The Lowdown, Death by Lightning and so on .

Last Comic Con day . I got to watch today’s opening stage seated ( Frodo and Sam with Frodo’s Japanese voice actor and the Back to the Future fam with Marty’s voice actor) . Met the predident of SAG AFTRA , took pics of and with cosplayers and finally having a proper meal outside the venue .

Yay!

Observation after 2 days roaming the comic con venue and browsing Star Wars related things : there was zero Andor merch . Best show in memory and they treat it like it doesn’t exist 😤

The Nobel Prize committee should announce the World Cup winner tomorrow

Going home early because I might just fall asleep on my feet . Was planning to watch the DC gathering stage with Nicholas Hoult , but it’s 2hours from now 😩 . There is the YouTube channel to catch up with it at home .
