Such a sickener. But we can't blame the ref. This was on us. We just need to get rid of these silly little mistakes that are costing us games

However this ends up think we've played a blinder. Will we beat them at theirs, probably not. But we've stood toe to toe with one of the best teams in the world.

What I'd like to see from
#nufc
this summer - Sell Pope, buy Ramsdale & a 1st choice GK - Kraft, Target, Schar, and a few others at end of contract gone - Sell Willock - New Striker (Wissa moved to 2nd choice) - New CB - New Full back - New creative/attacking mid - Decide on position for Nick

Honestly, for all the Howe Out
#nufc
fans, they should take a look at the state of Spurs. Since Poch left, they've had 9 managers and are going nowhere. This is what I think would happen with us if we kicked out Howe

Osula's goal was great and all, but look at the picture and tell me that's where our forwards should be. Whoever it is on the left should be making a run in or calling for a pass back. The other should be making a run to the back post for a rebound. We need a proper striker.

Great win from
#nufc
but it does feel we can manage one top class performance in 3 at the moment. Too old, too many games, too few players.

Gave Man U nearly 20mins of extra time and took away a man - and we still won.

#nufc
has one of the tallest players in the league. For set pieces, can we not just clear a path for Burn and let him follow the flight of the ball and just head it f-ing clear. In fact, let's just have our players apart from Burn on half way ready to get on the end of his thunderc*nt header.

To add to the poor performances, it's just really annoying that all our goals are crap. Apart from Tonali's recent goal, all NUFC goals seem to be scrappy goals, deflections or penalties. Think it sums up our season.

Again, for Newcastle this feels like a winnable game and a chance to push up the league. Which means will probably lose it

Honestly, it sucks that Bruno is out but, as a team, if we are to progress, we need to learn to win without him. And as this season is pretty much a write off, it might not be the worst time to give Willock and Ramsey some serious game time

We've had so many games this season where I've felt if we won it, it'd help turn our season around and keep us in contact with the top lot. And we've pretty much lost all off them. We've not had a decent run of games. We just look totally out of it.

Think no matter what happens at the end of the season, we need a full clear out. All GKs, Kraft, Tripps, Schar, Willock, Osula. We're just too old and tired. Leading to too many mistakes, not enough drive, not enough pressing.

Would
#nufc
fans be up for selling Gordon? Honestly, if we got around £80m and had a replacement lined up I'd take it. He's got a lot of talent but just isn't doing it this year. Maybe once he gets a goal he'll start knocking them in. But with Barnes ready to go, think it'd be worth the risk

Time again when we have these opportunities to push on, we bottle it. We need a creative midfielder, a proper back up RB and just some ideas

What I'd give for a world class keeper at
#NUFC
. If you log at the transformational effect of players like Ederson, Allison, Raya, Martinez. Think if we had that quality at the back, we'd be so much more assured, confident and liable to hold on to games.

So sad to hear about Rob Reiner. A truly great director and genuinely good guy who was also behind some of cinemas most iconic moments - Up to 11 - My name is Inigo... - I'll have what she's having - You can't handle the truth - Hobbling - Trrraaaiiiinnn And many more.

Understand what Howe's saying but felt we've needed more goals from midfield. And Bruno especially. Been good to see him scoring and leading. Newcastle United have found unlikely talisman Eddie Howe did not want to find - Chronicle Live

You know what's wrong with movies these days. Not enough contraptions. Look at the homemade inventions and Rube Goldberg machines in Back to the Future, Goonies, Gremlins, Pee Wee, Honey I Shrunk the Kids. That's what the 80s did right.

Think this and West Ham are a proper wake up call. This isn't inconsistency it's just poor. Can't score, can defend, not controlling the midfield. City up next and closer to relegation than Europe

Think Newcastle are missing an old fashion ninety 9. When teams are just sitting back we need someone we can get it into the box to and will cause trouble. Who can get on the end of a loose bouncing ball and finish. Woltemade is great but not that player. Wissa could be.

Honestly in the UK at the moment it should be āstop being fucking idiotsā. I always thought that we were a country of well balanced people who were smart enough to recognise when they are being sold to by con men. The last 10-15 years has proven otherwise Turkeys voting for Christmas over here.

Think Howe genuinely wanted to try something new tactically this season with
#nufc
, and is trying to implement it despite (or because of) being reduced to having no proper striker and missing key players in midfield.

Honestly, don't mind ManU winning as means Amiron keeps his job for longer. No risk of getting a decent manager in who could actually start getting them playing well.

Think we need to go out full energy and intensity. Even if that means an injury and bookings. If we can show them and the rest of the league we're here to play, to win, and don't need Isak, I think it sends a strong message.

If Liverpool were really looking to bid after the game surely they would have been working with
#nufc
on this in the background. Which would suggest we have a replacement ready to go - which we don't. So I just don't think they are going to bid.

Howe: My wish is that he will be playing with us on Monday and 100% I want to see him back in a Newcastle shirt. Can see Isak coming back. This is the first step. The opening of the door from Howe. Keep talking about his return and it becomes more normal

At least Howe had kept it private, classy and the door open. That Isak statement essentially shuts the door.

Newcastle United have completed their 4th signing of the summer, shelling out ~Ā£40m for Jacob Ramsey from EPL rival Aston Villa. Like Thiaw, the club have secured a player thatās been on their shortlist for a long time. Why does Howe like him so much? Itās time to take a closer look š§µ

Feels like
#nufc
are just looking for a £40-60m starting striker, but not an Isak replacement. Just someone who can start and get 15-odd goals this year. Then in Jan or summer when Isak situation is resolved, we'll either spend that money on his replacement or have Isak back.

Just realised that no matter how well
#nufc
do this season, there will always be the 'what if' factor around Isak. For every draw where we missed a chance to win, it'll be what if Isak played. People will be counting the points we lost due to not having him

This feels like the transfer window that players and agents have cottoned on to the fact that PSR means project clubs like
#NUFC
and Villa simply won't be able to pay the wages of the big 6 - probably ever. That even if Man U finish 14th, they can buy themselves back into running.

Controversial opinion but I feel a CM is higher priority for
#nufc
in terms of transfers than a CB. Just in terms of bodies. We've got a lot of people who can play at the back but literally only 5 in CM. Though expect Hall might find himself playing midfield more often this season

Lot of talk about how
#NUFC
have handled the Isak thing but think Isak's team have been really naive about the whole thing. If they thought OFC were interested and this was his only choice, they should have come out a long time ago or just had an honest chat with the Newcastle team.

My view of
#NUFC
transfers is we should target: - either big 6 bench warmers or mid table stars who want Europe & want to play regular (ie, they'll get more mins with us than big 6) - international level from other big Euro leagues that want to play in PL - youths & wildcards from other Euro league
