ICE is targeting bike riders.⚠️Until today, although ICE had been targeting cyclists elsewhere, in the Upper Keys they had focused mostly on motor vehicles identified for pullover by license plate readers. Today, we saw a detention of a man on a bike, riding on the Heritage Trail (the bike path/sidewalk). We are very sad for that man and his family, and concerned for the rest of you. Please know that you may not be safe on a bike.⚠️¡Atención! ICE está deteniendo a ciclistas.⚠️Hasta hoy, aunque ICE había detenido a ciclistas en otras zonas, en los Cayos Superiores se habían centrado principalmente en vehículos motorizados, a los que detiene mediante lectores de matrículas. Hoy, detuvieron a un hombre en bicicleta por el Sendero del Patrimonio (la ciclovía/acera). Nos entristece mucho lo sucedido a este hombre y a su familia, y nos preocupa el resto de ustedes.
