Anyways, I switched back to Krita after download! Photoshop is such a learning for me for digital art. 🤣 I use it for photobashing, manipulation and graphics purposes. I do wanna try something with the background using the Konayachi Brush Set in Krita.

My recommendations on looking for royalty free stock photos especially if you want to use backgrounds or if you're gonna practice them (like me): 1. Unsplash 2. Pexels These guys were my go to whenever I do graphic design AND illustrations

Also, looking for royalty free photos are also tricky these days cause they might be AI generated too. Missed those simpler times.

We were encouraged to use AI at work for a quicker workflow. The few times I've used it, it felt like I'm on a roll. Though as much as possible, I avoid doing 1:1, though there are some customers who want us to replicate it. But I noticed a difference when I don't use AI at work.

Whether it's art or music, someone said in a post on FB— AI raises expectations that a human being could not achieve (or something around the lines of that). For example, a challenge coin. They made a design out of ChatGPT. They expect us to do 1:1. They get disappointed if it doesn't match.

Out of topic but I heard Gemini can generate music now. Tried it out. It's good, but I honestly don't know what to think. This could cause harm to musicians or they can be creative with it by sampling? But what are your thoughts on this?

I don't usually do as much fanart as before, but I drew Samus while I was watching the entire Metroid timeline. They should make a Metroid movie based on Metroid Prime 4 and Other M's visuals, man. But I'd love to see the series have better writing.

So it turns out the concept of Redemption Ever After was on February 22, 2015. I came across an old DeviantArt post announcing that this project would be called Redemption under a different name. Man, 11 years in the hidden? Let's change that.

My current workflow on Krita's new manga panel feature panels have to be vector layers. it's like working on illustrator minus the individual elements on the layers panel, but easy to click. Idk how to put this on words. But yeah, it's fun. I just suck at backgrounds.

I'M LATE BUT KRITA FINALLY HAS A COMIC / MANGA DIVIDER TOOOOOL! But I'm still trying to figure out how I can create comics there.
