Just catching up on @podnews.net and seeing more layoffs - this time at Sirius/Earwolf (AGAIN). Vox a few weeks before that (AGAIN). And all I'm thinking is - THE FUTURE IS INDEPENDENT. If every laid-off person joined @airmedia.bsky.social we'd be a real force to be reckoned with.

I’m enrolled in this (free) course and am finding it really insightful. I’ll post some takeaways as I try to figure out my role in this wide blue sky.
