Working on a social media game. It might be one of my last indie projects using Flutter. Flutter really only makes sense when you truly need both platforms - example: social apps where your friends might be on Android. If you’re building apps to earn money, iOS alone is often enough. #buildinpublic

Indie dev reality: building for Android and iOS sounds nice, but only one pays the bills. Android = downloads. iOS = revenue. If you’re solo or small, focus where users actually spend money.

I’ve always wondered why my iOS app performs so much better in Europe compared to the rest of the world. Is it because I’m based here and local usage (even TestFlight installs?) boosts App Store visibility? Or does location still play a sneaky role in ranking and distribution?
