The struggle between consistently using one good balanced team vs experimenting with different gimmicks in Pokemon Champions is so difficult… I think I want to get to a point where I hit Master Ball 1 and feel “good” at the game before I start experimenting on Ranked.

Y’know what, I’m gonna start posting my Pokemon Champions battles on a second YouTube channel. I really like the idea of other people being able to learn from my mistakes & being able to notice gameplay growth through videos. I think that kind of thing can be encouraging.

About to pick up flash cards to remember speed tiers of Pokemon like I'm studying for university exams. What has Pokemon Champions done to me?

As somebody who's competed in various sports and even reached finals of competitions on both local & international levels. Why is it the quickest my heart ever beats in my chest is playing competitive Pokemon on ranked?! Make it make sense.

Pokemon champions players, is this against VGC etiquette?!

I understand the perspective of trying to use your favourite Pokemon when it comes to competitive battles. BUT in the opposite way, using competitively good Pokemon has actually introduced me to a ton of new favourites I wouldn’t have cared for much otherwise.

Master Ball Tier was a little easier to hit than expected. Only saw Perish Trap twice and won both. Win streaks got me through Great & Ultra, but Pokeball Tier felt like HELL?! 😭

Pokemon Champions is just so fun and addictive. Where they've made it so quick and easy to adjust your team it makes the "just one more game" feeling SO much stronger. Even when I need a break rom Ranked I'm just spending hours on Casual. 😭

My hope for Pokemon Champions right now is that the limited roster and items actually spark more creativity so we see some fun things we never would have thought of before. I have faith we'll see some generational strategies we might look back on fondly.

First episode of Witch Hat Atelier was FIRE! A masterclass in small character details & moments allowing the viewer to piece together reveals in the episode ahead of time. Reminds me of Apothecary Diaries in that way. I think this one is gonna be something special.
