As a little tip to all you smaller streamers: Audio is KING!!!! It’s SO SO IMPORTANT 80% of your viewers are most likely lurkers (have your stream on in the background) Optimise your system audio & mic for the best results!

As a contrary to this: STREAMERS PLEASE DONT let viewers boss you around! We as streamers will try to cater to our audience, and try to be friendly/friends with everyone! But don’t feel pressured to listen to every demand just to make one viewer happy. Happy streamer = fun stream!

TWITCH STREAMERS Please stop putting live notification messages such as: “X user has gifted you a sub” “Y user mentioned you” “Missed notification from Z user” NOT ONLY is it against twitch TOS but it is MANIPULATIVE and will cause MANY viewers like myself to unfollow.

A quick reminder that not all discussions have to be arguments, people’s mind’s works completely differently to one another, it’s like trying to imagine a new colour. Hear people out, even ones with less experience of knowledge. Perspective is a powerful thing.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but yappers are fucking awesome They’re energetic, passionate, and always open to new perspectives, ideas and opinions! There’s always something to talk about, and they never get bored yapping! Be a yapper :3

STREAMERS FYI If you’re not growing on twitch or have 0 viewers, that doesn’t make you a bad streamer! Twitch is an EXTREMELY top heavy platform, where smaller streamers don’t get recommended/impressions. Keep up the good work, you guys are awesome and you’ll build a community in no time!
