This is a nice bundle, but I think some people are thinking it’ll stay $500 when the Switch 2 price changes in September. I kinda doubt that will be the case and this bundle will go up around $50 too. I’d love to be wrong.

Switch 2 is gonna be $500 USD starting September 1st. Welp, that’s unfortunate, but not unexpected. Giving us a warning this far ahead of time is quite nice at least. If you want a Switch 2, you’ve got over 3 months to get it at the original MSRP and save that $50.

I’ve never been that good at designing things and artsy stuff, but I’ve been having a lot of fun making Miis in Tomodachi Life. I try to make at least one every day I play. I’m pretty pleased with the results thus far.

When I loaded up Tomodachi Life this evening, this is not what I had in mind. Idk how Spheal is doing this.

A shiny Pokemon when I mistakenly pack the kickballs instead of my poke balls.

Just waited 2 hours for this. Best part is I was almost through queue after an hour, but I lost WiFi for a minute and it reset. I’m really sick of the state of Pokemon cards.

When I was around 7 (2007), I was briefly into the Pokemon anime and tcg, and I really liked cars I guess. When I was 18 (2018) I got back into Pokemon and have loved it ever since. I found this relic in a drawer under my bed today. I still think Rampardos is cool.

Never been into competitive Pokemon, so I was going back and forth on if I wanted to try Champions. My whole feed is just people having issues though so I think my intro to competitive will continue to wait LOL.

Never lived with a cat before so this is an experience.

In the year or more that there’s been a Pokemon vending machine at the store across the street, I’ve never seen anything in it. Tonight though, there was a singular Ascended Heroes mini tin. Never opened this set, and knew nothing about it, but I love Dustox. $10 well spent.

I think my favorite part about the Super Mario Galaxy Movie was Yoshi. I’ve always liked Yoshi, but I LOVED him in the movie. Just such a silly and fun dude. I wish he had more to do in the final act, but other than that he was amazing.

Ya know, going straight from watching the Super Mario Galaxy Movie to watching Episode 5 of Invincible Season 4 was a choice I made tonight. Holy crap man.

Okay, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. I thought it was really fun! I'd even probably say I liked that more than the first movie. Yoshi alone made the first act of the movie an absolute joy for me. A lot of fun moments, and of course plenty of stuff for fans to enjoy through out.

I don’t care what the critics say, that movie did in fact mamma my mia.

I knew GameStop started marking up Pokemon Card stuff, but I just fell out of the loop cause I'm so burnt out with the current state of things. Got an email and decided to check in and... Oh my god... Welp, just gonna continue with not really paying much attention.

It’s been a whole year since Rhythm Heaven Groove was announced and we haven’t seen anything about it since. Such a weird game to be taking this long.

My Tomodachi Life island is gonna be an experience. This game cannot get here soon enough.

I finally found Growlithe 😭! My #2 favorite right behind Spheal. Oh I love them so much. And their introduction is so cute!

A side effect of the new Handheld Mode Boost on Switch 2 seems to be I can’t use my pro controller to play FRLG in handheld mode. While typing this, I actually tried disconnecting my joy-cons and turning them off, leaving my pro controller as the only one connected and it works.

Switch 2 just got a cool update. You can make original Switch games run as if the system was docked while playing in handheld. Basically, should improve the performance and visuals of some games in handheld mode. Pretty smart. Interested to see the results of this.

There are parts of Pokopia that make me wanna sob, but then there are parts of Pokopia that make me genuinely laugh. It’s such a pure game.

Today was probably the most eventful birthday I’ve had in years and it’s time to end it off with some Pokemon.

So with the event for Deoxys being in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen on Switch, it's very likely if/when they port Emerald we'll be able to do the Mew event and just straight up shiny hunt that thing.

Pokemon Pokopia is probably gonna be the best birthday present I’ve gotten in a while.

Almost forgot about my Pokemon Presents bingo card. I was so close in multiple spots, but I don't think we got it. I could've missed a shiny somewhere, but I watched it back and just didn't see any. Oh well, maybe next time. It was a good Pokemon Day.

I was fully expecting Pokemon Winds and Waves to be 2026, so this is how I’ll be coping with having to wait until 2027.
