Did I just hear someone have a car wreck outside

* [ Asriel slides back into the car with ease, door closing behind him. The few from so far was nice, but it'd be even nicer in town. ] * [ Shifting into gear, Asriel starts the car up again, navigating the seemingly endless backroads into Hometown. ] * [ . . is that – ? WAIT! ]

[ * . . . A figure drags itself from the opening in the door, shadows melting off of them like tar. Shadows trying to drag them back in, shadows that *she* rips past. *. . . There's a step. Then another. * . . . She slams the doors shut behind her. ]

* [ The sound of a car door clicking open, followed by the sound of shuffling as a familiar figure emerges. ] * [ Adjusting his glasses, Azzy stands next to his open car door, a small smile on his face. ] . . still looks the exact same.

so ( mostly ) excited to be in hometown again sure hope nothing strange or unusual happens

( Maybe I should have given a heads up, but then I guess it wouldn't have been much of a 'surprise visit', huh? )
