Turns out kids really love Toy Story… a fact I found out when drawing this for my sproglet and she just sat and watched me draw the whole thing and let me colour it uninterrupted.

Because of the fun my Sproglet and I had drawing while watching Winnie the Pooh, I've started to do it with every cartoon we watch... Today it's Finding Nemo... Another one of her favourites.

Had a wonderful afternoon drawing while my 1 year old watches, and is completely into it... Drew some of her current favourites (I'm actually pretty impressed with myself for managing to do Pooh, Piglet and Tigger from memory).

AI should not be used for any part of the creative process. This includes Ideation. To use AI at that stage is killing a really important part of your creative cognition. It is NOT the same as looking at picture reference... you're basically looking at a copy of a copy made out of copies.

I'm very curious to see if they award that stupid peace trophy to anyone else beyond Tangerine Palpatine....

I will say that as a relatively new dad... Fantastic Four did hit a bit close to home occasionally.

I actually quite enjoyed the new Fantastic Four movie. The casting and production design was absolutely note perfect and how they handled Galactus was really well done. Lots of nice little nods to the comic too.
