Creators get harassed left and right for not validating people's headcanons and I'm supposed to think it's wrong for them to pre-emptively block people lol. Also, lowkey, I think you're the kind of person who publicly whines about being blocked, you probably deserved it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

an indie creator dropped a new pilot (i haven't watched it yet but i plan to this weekend) but i saw discourse on twitter about the creator blocking a bunch of people. I mean no offense, but considering animation twitter's behavior the last 10 years, can you blame them?

I remember when someone asked me if they could dub my comics and i gave them permission but set a few rules and i got yelled at by multiple people for being "rude". To this day I don't even know what I said was rude, not enough exclamation points i guess.

I dont think im an uwu wholesome artist, i think i can be pretty cynical and lowkey pretty mean (i have such a low tolerance for online nonsense LOL sorry) But I do think it sucks when I'm just trying to communicate with someone and I'm told off for being rude. like damn, what a bummer.

The most frustrating aspect of being autistic is that being direct is perceived as being "rude" and it's hard to find a "nicer" tone without feeling like you're mothering strangers online.
