Last class of the 2024 fall semester ✅ My doctoral class on intervention optimization was just so full of joy. These public health professionals are ones to watch! 💫🌟

I had one heck of a week, y’all! On Sunday I got to give a preconference workshop on intervention optimization & implementation science, then jetted off to ATL to train my longtime colleagues and friends to help deliver my CSA module & then plan the next grant! So tired, and so happy! 🤓

The Smart Parents Study Team got to spend time with Dr. Shannon Self-Brown from Georgia State University! Shannon is my long time mentor, collaborator, and friend. So lucky to have her as a consultant on my R01. We are cooking up big things!

The recruitment phase for my R01, the Smart Parents Study is complete! 🥳 We are delighted to partner with 23 PAT Affiliates across 15 states! We have also recruited our first parents into the the study!! 🎉 Stay tuned for the #SmartParentsStudy training adventures in 2025!

So so proud of my lab- only a fraction of whom are in this picture. They all mean the world to me, make my job fun, and are actively working to keep kids and families safe and healthy. I am SO proud. Congratulations to all of our graduating lab members! ✨ I can’t wait to see what you do next!
