Finally passed the halfway point for UNSTABLE’s final rewrite. 30-ish more chapters and a final error check to go! Ahahahah I’m so tired…

Book research. Travel distance and time. I literally made a brush that’s spaced in a way to somewhat accurately measure distance via circles and I just have to draw a path to see how far it is.

Yay after weeks of physical therapy I can pretty much draw as normal again! Still can barely open a water bottle but hey progress.

Check out my gnarly post surgery scars. Actually I think the Doc did a good job with the scar placement even removed the extra scar tissue. Once the stitches are out it should blend in with the natural creases in my hand. Definitely better than the ER stitches pre surgery. Lot of scar tissue.

Had my surgery today. Honestly didn’t think I’d be under as deep of anesthesia as I was and for as long. I went in cause half my finger was numb with nerve damage. Now my entire right arm is completely numb and dead and I cannot will it to move…For the next 24hrs. Thanks nerve block. Yay…

Okay so despite the discomfort and difficulty I can at least make simple doodles. Did I mention before that my injury was caused by broken glass that severed a nerve? Whoops #ouch #doodle #furry #digitalart

Sooo hiatus is gonna extend a bit longer as apparently I severed a nerve when i injured my hand. Positive news is I’m getting it repaired in a couple weeks. Hoping i might have a few days before the surgery where my hand functions enough for art but I’m not holding my breath.

You know I’m slowly getting used to only using my left had for everyday tasks. But one enemy still eludes me. Opening water bottles.

So. I’m going on temporary (forced) hiatus from art until the large gash in my palm heals. Good thing I can write on my phone with my left hand. Guess mainly focusing on my book for the next month.

Welp I did it. The entire first draft of my book UNSTABLE is complete at almost 60 chapters. Currently working on the rewrite and cleanup but, that spring release is looking more and more realistic. however it’s only part 1. Part 2 only has a layout and will start after part one is completed.
