Today marks Holocaust Memorial Day 2026. This day of remembrance honours the millions of people who were murdered in the Holocaust. In last week's assembly, students reflected on this year’s theme, “Bridging Generations” – using recorded words and testimonies of victims and survivors.

Our Y10 & Y11 maths students have been visited by academics from Sheffield Hallam University, who have been speaking to them about the opportunities further study in maths creates. From sport science to physics, ecology and finance, the speakers outlined the broad range of career paths available.

We're into the last week of our Stronger Starts attendance drive - we have so far celebrated 14 daily winners, 9 weekly winners AND 18 winning forms! It's been great to see such strong engagement. More prizes are still to be claimed! (Reminder: students can see attendance % on Satchel:One)

On Friday 30th January, from 11am-2pm, there is a SEND Support Event at Sheffield Grand Mosque. The event aims to support families who may be struggling to meet their children’s SEND needs by offering advice and practical support. All are welcome and there is no need to book.

An unauthorised absence is any absence that has not been approved by school. If your child has unauthorised absences, you may be issued with a penalty notice. To prevent this, it is important that your child attends school every day and on time.
