Thanks to everyone who attended this weekend's Club Shoot. We had a modest turnout on a day with lots of other stuff happening, but were lucky to have sports and wildlife photographer Amanda Newlove (IG: @amanda.newlove) visiting, and she managed to capture some amazing photos of archers in action.

We're pleased to make available plans for the tournament target stands that we use at BMB, free for anyone to use, modify, improve, and share. These stands work with 48"-54" target rounds, and should satisfy World Archery requirements for outdoor archery targets. 1/2

To all BMB users: San José State University will be hosting the annual WINTRR Collegiate Tournament at Black Mountain Bowmen this coming weekend (Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1).

In light of the current and forecast weather conditions, we've decided to cancel the upcoming range maintenance work party, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026. With all the rain, the ground will be too slippery and muddy for service vehicles and volunteers to operate safely. 1/2

Black Mountain Bowmen hosted over 80 archers for the CBH/SAA State 900 shoot this past weekend. The weather cooperated with initially cool and overcast conditions on Saturday, and clear skies but moderate temperatures and only a bit of wind on Sunday.
