I know the common advice is to ignore numbers but I think we're all doing a disservice by pretending there's no element of pride in posting art publicly, otherwise we'd just make it and keep it to ourselves. and when you notice certain trends, that pride gets damaged and you wonder if you just suck

Guess who just found out their doctor is no longer in network and each visit would cost hundreds of dollars because I don't go often enough to whittle down the deductible. Had this doctor for 20+ years now, and I can't afford them anymore.

I tend to default to this style when I need something cathartic.Used to do a lot of abstract/minimalist art

sometimes I wish I could think of something to do with my time besides art because of days/weeks/entire months where it seems like I've gone backwards. But when I get frustrated and think "fuck it, I'm not even gonna try" I can't think of anything else to do, and resting just makes me feel worse
