Had a wonderful time at Microbiology Society Annual Conference 2026 held in Belfast this year. It was eye opening to interact with researchers from a variety of disciplines. Lots of talks on cancer biology, Eukaryotic viruses, AMR, implementation of AI in drug discovery and phage biology.

Grateful to have been given the opportunity to present my research on how Enterococcal Polysaccharide Antigen (EPA) plays an essential role in phage surface recognition on the Enterococcal cell surface envelope.

I’m very glad to have presented my work on the role of Enterococcal Polysaccharide Antigen (EPA) as a cell surface recognition epitope for Enterococcal phages at Viruses of Microbes (VoM) UK conference this past week.
