It's actually in the EBU's interest to have a vote because when they get backlash for the result - whichever way it goes - they can point to the result and say, "hey, it's what the members wanted, don't blame us!" #Eurovision

The new age limit for #Eurovision makes sense. It's a gruelling, high pressure process. And on the subject, I'd change to JESC ages from 9-14 to something like 12-16. Putting 9 year olds against teenagers is odd.
