While I've got Onimusha on my mind, grabs being universally unblockable across genres is such a great video gamism. It's easy to understand where this idea came from in beat em ups and fighting games, but it's always a bit funny when applied to games where you've got a sword

Tried out the Onimusha demo. It's been approximately one billion years since I last played an Onimusha so I can't really compare it to those, but I liked it. Slicing genma in half feels good, and the Ganryu fight felt appropriately technical.

Hard to have uncomplicated feelings about Destiny because it lasted so long and it was impacted by many internal and external factors. But I don't feel sad about it ending. Nothing lasts forever and it did exactly what it set out to do. They started a ten year long story and then concluded it.

Personally I don't buy the idea that Char had no ideological position in CCA. He was a committed contolist in Zeta and he repeats the same ideas to Amuro at the end of the film. I just think he hated being in-charge because he didn't really believe in the potential of people to change.
