Well, I was considering trying to get my books on to other platforms than Amazon, but it seems Ingram Spark tell me I need to buy an ISBN to upload an ebook. At £93 a shot that's something for the future. Anyone know if other facilitators for Nook, Kobo, etc don't need an ISBN? #booksky #book

Thanks to a bit of advice from @sturrock.bsky.social , I've been able to strip the fantasy world map back to the basics and repopulate it digitally. Photoshop isn't particularly intuitive to use, but once I got the original scan cleaned up, Paint does the job nicely. #booksky #book #fantasy #sf&f

How to price an ebook? I think ebooks should be much cheaper than print books, but these days my fave authors are doing ebooks at what print books were 5/6 years ago. I can't charge an hourly rate, so guess I want people to buy, by tempting them with a 1.99 price. Any sale is good, right? #booksky

Reading up on how SF&F novels should really be in excess of 70k words, but going back thru my e-library, many books that I've enjoyed are well below the word count of the likes of Ben Galley and Peter F Hamilton.
