For sides with our gumbo I made corn on the cob, honey cornbread with jalapeños and sharp cheddar cheese. I also made cilantro lime rice and sliced up a watermelon. Everything was tasty!❤️😋🍽️🍜

My gumbo is put together and simmering. The roux came out a lovely dark brown! This is chicken and sausage gumbo for tonight. I made some mustard potato salad (Louisiana style) to go with it. More yum to go! ❤️😋🍽️🍜

I’m down with some tummy issues so I made a gut friendly soup: onion, carrot, celery, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and chicken breast cooked in broth til tender then blended. Back in the pot and added finely diced chicken breast, zucchini, gf stellini pasta. Having ginger beer on the side. Yum!❤️😌🍽️🍜
