Its been almost 1 year since the Blasphemous 2 Mea Culpa DLC came out, and I have the itch to replay it. I think my review remains pretty solid, but there were a number of fixes made to elements I was most critical of since then that have me wanting to retvrn. youtu.be/eIxKcM-UE4w

Wrapped up Act 3 of Silksong, what a banger of a final boss and overall what a fun final act. I have a bit more I could do in Act 3, but I think I've Silked my Song for the moment.

I’ve enjoyed Silksong, but I gotta say I’m a little tired going into Act 3. The runbacks, shard system, and general tankiness of enemies in the game have made the experience a bit more demanding across the board, and I’m not sure how much tolerance I have for things to kick it up a notch in Act 3.

The last couple days I've learned that one does not simply "play a little Hollow Knight" ahead of Silksong's release.

This is happening way too often lately and it's really irritating: if you are unsure if something is AI generated, don't asume it publicly. Just don't, please. Otherwise we'll end seeing more sad headlines like this one.

Something I didn't mention in my story yesterday: one of the reasons that Team Cherry had such an enjoyable time making Silksong is that it's 2D. Nice and flat. Don't have to worry about 3D art pipelines. In other words, all video games should be 2D

In case you're wondering: Team Cherry told me they don't plan on sending out early codes for Silksong (they felt like it'd be unfair for critics to be playing before Kickstarter backers and other players), so don't expect to see reviews until after the game comes out

Saw credits on Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and it was a real treat from start to finish. The levels are creative and fun, the bosses are GREAT, and The Game Kitchen knocked it out of the park once again with the art direction. I see myself coming back to try out the Hard Mode.
