Huge fan of Allianz after last night. Great stadium even if the concourses are a mix between Times Square and the hunger games. However, putting live xG on the scoreboard is somehow extremely annoying to me. I would not want my players seeing it all game.

Met some Whitecaps fans downtown today enjoying brunch. They met the standard of niceness one expects from Canadians. Normally I wouldn’t strike up a conversation with another table but I really appreciated them coming here. I love this little game and how it draws people together.

The “get up” gesture when a ref thinks the player went over too easily and so isn’t calling a foul is judgy and shouldn’t be allowed. Just don’t call the foul. If the player simulated then show a yellow. The energy of a ref deciding he gets to show up the player is way too main character for me.
