Some NIH study sections for tomorrow have just been canceled. Who knows which of these grants would have led to the next life-saving invention. Who knows which scientists will throw in the towel bc of funding delays. Who can even begin to measure the impact of these reckless cancellations.😕🩺🧪🛟

This is a super scary - both for scientists relying on NIH funds and for patients awaiting scientific advances in treatments 😭

Not to mention the harm this paper has done in the time since it was published by concluding LC is strikingly rare in kids when they seemingly did not even understand what LC is. 😫
