Thinking about getting a last minute ticket to the OSU game tomorrow in Columbus. I’m already in OH and don’t have much going on tomorrow night…1.5 hour drive…might sleep on it and see if I’m still feeling it in the morning.

Can’t get out of TX fast enough. Every other TV commercial this morning is some gigantic church and minster advertising their service for this coming Sunday. Never seen anything like this.

I never fly American Airlines, think they just bamboozled me into paying extra for a seat? Said I would get an earlier boarding group, it was exact same boarding group I already had. It’s exit row on a tiny plane, as long as I have room for my long ass legs and can put my backpack up top I’m good. 🤷‍♂️

I have Top Flight golf balls for this event today. All I can think about is the Friday After Next movie with Mike Epps, “Top Flight security of the world, Craig!!!”

Heading to TX today for bidness. Just got to get through tonight’s event, and 14 hr event tomorrow. Thought a few months ago this would be a good networking and exposure to snr leadership event. As I learned more, it’s actually just a necessary evil and you’re only exposed to your existing vendors.

Last night was second time I’ve been to DEN stadium. What happened during the game aside, it’s a really good experience and a really good building. Food options kick ass, they need to work on desserts/ice cream, drinks were good. Game hype and in-game stuff was awesome. Fans were cool mostly.

Getting gashed at least 4-5 yards every run play, no pressure on Nix or if he does roll out receivers are wide open, Geno scared to tackle, etc. etc. Throwing the ball up to Tee to the sideline & praying, or holding too long and taking a sack is 90% of your offense. 5 million penalties. #WhoDey

Whelp. The nachos were good at least. LM loved them. #WhoDey

On an executive review meeting with a very small client. Taking a back seat and fly on wall today. There’s a senior guy on a team presenting and he has used the words “you know” probably 50+ times in his 3 slides, boring & client tuned out. I’m so conscious now how I present, he is driving me nuts.

Someone come tomorrow and replace my microwave that’s over my range top. It doesn’t look too tough, I just don’t have the time. I’m going on work trip Wed and then not back until Monday. Which means I won’t be able to fix if do myself until Oct 10th cause work all week too. Will pay you with bacon.

Using 8 small habaneros (deseeded) from my garden in my latest batch of chili. It’s a big pot, like 8-10 quarts and massive amount of different stuff in it. I looooove habanero flavor so much. Bring on da heat!!!!

Have to present my peak operational plan for 10 minutes to our entire warehouse senior leadership team and our COO & CEO this morning. Then this afternoon I present to our 2nd biggest client’s CEO & COO in an business review covering YTD and Q4 plan. Buckle up, gonna be a fun one today folks!

Went to the doctor today for routine checkup. When did they start asking if you drink coffee or soda? Stuff with caffeine is what they wanted to know. Is it someway insurance can disqualify you from coverage of something? Felt like I shouldn’t answer it but I did. 🤷‍♂️

I am having a rough one at work today. Every interaction except a few has been contentious, with members of my own team too. Something in the universe today, I feel like I should quit for the day before I lose it. 🤣🤷‍♂️

Kid & wife are home sick today. I fell asleep on couch last night after watching football. Woke up middle of night and kid had already crawled into my bed and took my spot so I went back to couch. Looks like I might be dodging a bullet here! Who says watching football never accomplished anything?!?

Found a GIGANTIC green caterpillar mauling my tomato plants!! Found another little one too. They blend in so well it’s extremely hard to see them until they’ve already done a bunch of damage.
