Is anyone surprised that Capcom hasn't done more with the Street Fighter IP? I see so many new age anime and gaming apparel just doing my job on a regular basis and I'm just beside myself. Street Fighter is a cultural phenomenon in Japan. In the US, it's lacking. They should be taking over here.

If someone ever writes a song that genuinely captures the gamer lifestyle without being tangential or mocking, that song would make #1 on this list. The number of popular songs that mention video games is up there, but not one of them is written from the perspective of a gamer.

I've had an idea for some time and only a few days ago, I finally got down to it. I re-translated the lyrics to Ed's Street Fighter 6 theme, König oder Feigling, to give it more flow. It's not perfect, and it will probably need a rewrite, but here it is.

I've been telling people the best way to tell Street Fighter's story is anthology style. If you try to force things into one movie, you get a huge mess. If the Street Fighter movie turns out bad, I may have to Zach Snyder the movie.

I do feel that of all the theories I've ever written, from G, Q, and Rose to Ryu, Chun-Li, and Karin, the deepest, and my personal favorites, are the Dark Ibuki theories.There's so much potential for Ibuki to turn evil, and fiddling around on Google, I realized just how deep her story could go.

Is it too much to ask gaming journalists to cover Street Fighter's story more? Every gaming article I read now is DEPRESSION PERSONIFIED. There's a reason I stick to what I know. The world sucks. I don't need to be reminded EVERY DAY that it sucks. Focus on Street Fighter's apocalypse, not our own.

A Street Fighter 6 prediction: Ibuki returns as a playable character, but something very, very wrong has happened. Kimberly fulfills the young, bubbly ninja role Ibuki once filled, so I do see Ibuki ending up on the darker, more mature side of things as character development.
