Learning Letterpress: 1. Old school: type is set and ready to ink for a test proof 2. New school: take a photo on a smart phone and flip it :) I am sure it will get easier but it is remarkable how many typos you can make when you think you are being careful #letterpress

Pleased with the test print but not pleased with the inconsistent ink transfer in some subsequent prints. I think this is why carving is my favourite part of the process: the image is done, and the trials of printing are a theoretical thing. There is just being present in the carving 😊 #printmaking
