I see all of the updates to Splatoon and a new spin off game and all I can think is please don't let this be what the Animal Crossing dev team has been working on all this time since Splatoon 3 updates ended last summer 😭

My forever Animal Crossing island has been successfully transferred to Switch 2 with no issues. Here's some notes for everyone who needs it: - You DON'T NEED to use the Island Transfer Tool if you are moving your whole library of games - You NEED to press "keep existing data" when asked

Waiting for all my games to transfer to Switch 2 and it’s taking its sweet time to just download Animal Crossing New Horizons. I’m so excited to play on a new console as soon as it’s done!

Nothing frustrates me more in Animal Crossing than villagers wearing outfits I don’t want and when I ask Isabelle to get them to remove the outfits, the villagers continue to wear them. Please let me remove the awful sunglasses or outfit someone else kindly gifted them!

Random thought of the day, when did girl games suddenly become cosy games? I’m not mad about this change but I just think about how the only “cosy” games we had for ages were Animal Crossing and The Sims. Now we have so many choices that it’s become a niche of its own. What do you think caused it?

I finally got around to trying the demo of Europa, an adventure game where you are a boy navigating to a place called The Island. You solve puzzles using magic and traverse the world in unique ways that I've not seen before. I will be playing the full game soon.

I met someone who asked me what I do for fun, I told them I play Animal Crossing. We had a really long conversation about how amazing the game is and they haven't played in a really long time but loved and missed it. They are now going back to ACNH. Guess I'm an enabler now! 😅
