The Government shutdown is a sham. Republicans could easily reopen it on their votes alone. They don’t want to do that, however, because that would mean they get all the blame for the increase in everyone’s health care costs. They’d rather see Americans suffer.

No Democrat should vote to reopen Government. The Republicans either need to compromise - restoring healthcare & ensuring Trump is reigned in from further destroying the country - or figure out for themselves how to reopen without Democratic votes.

Just found out that the printing of SCOTT SHAW!’S SONIC DAYS will be delayed for about a week due to the Chinese Holiday. Fingers crossed we’re able to get delivery of the books just after Thanksgiving in time to send out for Christmas. I’ll have more info in a week.

The Sonic fans I've met aren't anything as negative as Charlie was. I wish people got this upset when kids are killed. Charlie didn't rate this level of grief.

I can’t be bothered by people who think not having sympathy for Charlie Kirk is making fun of his death. Charlie didn’t care one bit about other victims of gun violence so why should I care he’s become another statistic? That’s not making fun of his death, people, just a fact.

Mike Kirkpatrick on drums, which he really hadn’t played in quite a while. He was the 1st friend Colin made after our move to CA in 2001 and they - along with Bernie & I - have been through a lot together in the years since. High school. College. Mike’s wedding. It’s been a life.

We came down to San Diego to watch our son Colin play with his band THE BREWHAHAS tonight. Tomorrow we watch the Bills game before heading over to Petco Park For the Padres game where Bernie gets her birthday gift from him. Then it’s back home to wrap up work on the book.

RIP Dan Drazen. I 1st met Dan at the Motor City Con back in the 90s, corresponded with him many times, only to learn now he passed just before receiving the copy of the KNUCKLES OMNIBUS I sent him featuring the Foreword I asked him to write.
