Without legal representation, asylum seekers navigating Immigration Court proceedings are at greater risk of being sent back to persecution in their home countries. Nearly 90% of asylum seekers without representation were denied asylum.

We are deeply grateful to the Boston Bar Foundation for its timely support and partnership! We look forward to working together in the upcoming year as we improve access to justice for vulnerable immigrants in our community.

Across U.S. immigration courts, after immigrants attend their court hearings and a Judge has told them they are free to go, ICE is waiting to arrest them and whisk them away. What is happening is unjust and immoral. For the past two days, we have been at MA courts to advise people of their rights.
