TCSMS PBL: The Zaparo people of the Amazon have a wonderful origin story of water, and today we acted out that story. 🎬

TCSMS PBL: We added the Zaparo people of the Ecuadorian Amazon to our list of Silent Voices: Lost and Endangered Languages

TCSMS GAME DESIGN: Today was the first day of shoebox game design and the ideas 💡 and rapid prototyping was beautiful to see.

TCS MEDIA: Last year some students started making a cardboard model of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (The Duomo) but we ran out of time. Today, a couple kids asked if they could finish it. 🙂

TCS MEDIA: While teaching a Leonardo da Vinci elective class a couple years ago, a half dozen sixth and seventh graders created a model of the Chateau du Clos Luce in France. It was where da Vinci died at age of 67.

No right turns on my drive home from school unless I want to go to The Bahamas 🇧🇸😀

TCSMS GAME DESIGN: We ended our first nine weeks today with some pretty awesome TCSopoly board games

TCSMS PBL: We went to the Brazilian Amazon Rain Forest to learn about the Nheengatu people and their endangered language.

TCSMS PBL: We didn’t have the settings correct on our test run but like the idea of bringing laser cut cardboard or wooden puzzles to exhibition.

TCS MEDIA: Fourth graders had fun learning about the basics of robotics then sketching and creating LEGO robots 🤖

TCSMS ROBOTICS: Taking a break coding and just building cardboard robots 🤖

TCS MEDIA: We had to make some repairs to a Classroom Hall of Fame project when a couple of velcroed baseplates slipped off and crashed to the floor. Kids took their time and were able to restore the Brooklyn Bridge back to its glory!

TCS MEDIA: Both student built bikes tested after school today by our safety patrol! They said the goggles give you aura!
