Had a special moment yesterday when I put @lockedsoma.bsky.social in my chair for the first time. He was by my side last summer painstakingly scrubbing every piece of the chair to remove the smoke damage. He made amazing sounds as I dialed in the stroke on Shockspot and made a nice locked “mess”.

A great start to the morning. Encountered twice as many deer as other cyclists on my ride.

In the toughest of times, some amazing friends had the perfect prescription for this bull.

We met while I was visiting SirNControl many years ago. We’ve shared a life together with so many adventures. The good times. The bad times. You were always there by my side. My heart is broken knowing you are gone. ChgoBondage, you’ve left us way too soon.

My desire to experience gear I haven’t had a chance to try before is off the charts right now. Exactly what gear and whether it’s something someone offers to let me try or something I end up buying is unknown right now. Just my current headspace.

Super excited. Playroom rebuild has finally started. Reconfiguring some open space I discovered during the fire restoration for gear storage. Rubber flooring will be delivered tomorrow.

Bondage and gear can be the best catalyst for forging and growing relationships that extend well beyond the walls of a play space. This past weekend was no exception. After a year of successfully conquering some of the greatest/most stressful challenges in my life….

I’m deleting my Twitter account today. We collectively have tools to fight back against Elon ruining our government by boycotting his businesses.

House fire recovery: This hood is no longer made by Fetters UK and can’t be replaced. I spent 2 hours today with saddle soap, magic erasers and leather conditioner cleaning the leather/removing tarnish from the rivets and buckles. A 3rd party nose will have to judge whether the smoke smell is gone.

Today marks 1 year since my house fire. I am looking forward to rebuilding the playroom in 2025. The good news is that the fire restoration is done, and I have moved back home. The playroom looks like a storage room, and my patio table and chairs are my dining room set, but we are making progress.

Occasionally adding an unexpected humorous twist to a scene can be the best medicine.
